The Aspire AS5536 is a notebook that offers cinematic high-definition entertainment to anyone on-the-go. The notebook features a dynamic multimedia experience with cinematic HD, 16:9 widescreens and Dolby surround sound audio built in a Gemstone Blue sapphire design. The notebook features high-definition graphics from the NVIDIA graphics card and Dolby Home Theater® surround sound system provides users with optimal audio and visual experience. The Aspire notebook supports multi-gesture touchpad, allowing users to pinch, flick and swirl their fingers across it. Users can scroll, zoom in and out and flip through web pages, photos, spreadsheets and more. To prevent accidental cursor movement, a practical touchpad lock is incorporated. The system also come with Acer Backup Manager, a one-touch way to back-up all the important files and information stored on it, like music, photos, video, contacts, emails and Internet favorites and gives customers a way to backup files to another location such as a USB drive, external hard disk or another hard drive partition. The Acer Backup Manager can schedule a regular time to back-up data automatically or press the button for an immediate back-up. The notebook runs Windows Vista® Home Premium with Service Pack 1, supports wireless technology, is powered by up to 4GB memory RAM and Intel or AMD processors; and features a hard drive (up to 320GB) capable of storing music, photos, spreadsheets and presentations.
