Summary: I bought an Acer 5336 a year ago, as we reach 1 year, the HDD is failed and will not mount, some keys no longer work, the battery is almost dead and there is a possible system board fault due to the machine not entering bios when f2 pressed. I have been doing email ping pong with Acer for the last week and they clearly do not want to honor their warranty so I will buy a decent brand of laptop and remind myself to never make the mistake of buying an Acer again.
Summary: This lap-top is a nightmare, firstly the cursor has always skips all over the place which makes typing very difficult and now Word 2010 has frozen up and hence refuses to print. I must have been stupid to order this product as there seems to be no customer care to deal with such problems and I should have sent it back months ago. I complained to Acer months about cursor and have yet to be graced with any response.
Faulty item supplied - and very poor customer service response

Summary: This, my first notebook, seemed at first an OK purchase, but I had some trouble getting used to not using a mouse, and eventually realised the touch pad was faulty, the bottom third being completely unresponsive. I therefore wanted laptop replaced but Amazon could only refund, so at their suggestion I had to send for Acer to repair. It amazes me for an IT firm, but email contact with them is not possible.
