Bad speakers, shakey touchpad, cheap keys, no support for linux, great screen, lots of ram, a/c plug bad.

Summary: update: The plug where the a/c adapter plugs into the laptop is loose. It falls out on it's own several times a day. I have to roll it around at different angles and use weights to hold it against the connector so it stays in contact. It's gradually getting worse & worse.
Summary: I bought an Acer 5336 a year ago, as we reach 1 year, the HDD is failed and will not mount, some keys no longer work, the battery is almost dead and there is a possible system board fault due to the machine not entering bios when f2 pressed.
Faulty item supplied - and very poor customer service response

Summary: This, my first notebook, seemed at first an OK purchase, but I had some trouble getting used to not using a mouse, and eventually realised the touch pad was faulty, the bottom third being completely unresponsive.
Not worth the price I bought it for nearly 2 years ago and not worth it now!

Excerpt: When I was first thinking about buying this laptop I was also eying up a HP laptop which wasn't much more in price. I decided on this laptop ultimately over price but now wish I'd spent the extra money after the experiences I have had with this and a previous HP laptop which was better!
