Summary: unfortunately my last laptop broke on my and i was impatient about it and went out and bought the best looking cheap laptop i could find. i knew acer had a good reputation and it looked solid and it was a very good price so i went for this.. but problems started as soon as i turned it on.
Summary: This computer is sold with Vista but does not have sufficient hardware to run it properly. It therefore slows down and crashes on regular basis- in fact this is the only thing it does which can be relied on. if you want to use anything which requires more than minimal processing speed, e.g.
Summary: The mouse pad on my laptop is fauly. I would not be so dissatisfied if I could contact them. I tried to contact them two or three times at Christmas in relation to this problem and they ignored my request.
Summary: I've had my Acer for 5 months now. And for the past 4 weeks I haven't been able to charge it properly. That means I had my laptop 4 months before it became faulty. It charges intermittently, it's a very stubborn piece of machinery - just when I need to do some work it doesn't want to charge.

Summary: Bought Acer Laptop Aspire. It would not connect to Internet as has been previously commented on. Acer no help at all. Kept on blaming my BT Home Hub, Already running Sony Vaio very sucessfully and with ease. Sent machine back to Acer 3 times. No better.
Summary: I have just had a very frustrating time with this product. It would connect to my modem, but would not let me connect to the internet. I spent a lot of money on expensive technical helplines, because Acer told me it must be a software problem- nothing to do with them.
