Excerpt: ACED THIS PURCHASE! Ok, folks, when it comes to spending my hard-earned money on anything, I spend a great deal of time researching all the pros and cons of the item. For months I checked every newspaper ad for "my perfect laptop." It had to be a quality computer with specific features I wanted but for a nominal cost because basically I am a cheapskate. Very frugal.
Excerpt: This laptop is great on the go being portable and with a battery that lasts me three and a half hours with windows seven home premium. It only lacks blu-ray and bluetooth to make it complete but with everything else included and a three hundred dollar price tag it cannot be beat. I don't like the gesture touch mouse pad cause I accidentally use two fingers alot surfing and that makes for some interesting page movements.
Excerpt: After our HP laptop bit the dust, we were forced to purchase another laptop to get us through while it was being repaired. Not wanting to drop tons of money on a secondary laptop, I chose the Acer Aspire mainly because of the price, but also because for the money it had a decent processor (albeit a single core), as well as enough memory and RAM to suit our needs. So far I am really pleased with its performance. The screen provides crisp, clear images.
Excerpt: Bought this laptop for a friend and as far as I can tell, is a great piece of equipment for the price. If used for minimal computer needs, this is the one to get. Caught it at Walmart on sale for less that $300. Has everything necessary for a first time laptop owner including new Windows 7. also, looks great.
This Acer 5251 laptop is a great value at a low price!

Excerpt: My wifes's 5 year old laptop was finally showing signs of dying. She didn't want to spend a lot since she does not play online games like I do. She surfs, does email, reads the news etc. We picked up this Acer Aspire 5251 at Wal-Mart for under $300. Basically, the price of a Netbook. But, a bigger screen, much bigger HD, better graphics, etc etc etc. If you fit this level of use... why spend more? If you have a kid or young adult student without a computer...
Excerpt: This laptop is perfect for any student who does not have the funds to purchase an expensive computer. It works very well and to me it is like or even better than an hp. This brand is not very well known but it does its job well and it is light weight despite its size. I am gratefull to have bought such a great computer. Before purchasing this laptop I spoke to someone who knows his way around computers and recommended me to purcahse this.
Summary: I love my laptop, I graduated high school in 2010 and wanted a laptop that would get me through my college courses. I have used it every single day for the last two years and it still works just as good as the day I received it! It does have the normal wear and tear expected after two years but I don't see myself needing a new laptop for a few more years, maybe even until I graduate again.
Summary: I bought this for my wife as a gift and got it with an additional 100 dollars off in a flash sale so that coupled with the fact that it has never given us any major problems I couldn't really be any happier about it. As a desktop publishing, homework, research and web surfing laptop this thing is well within it's element. It does all those things well and with very good performance. It has a 15.6" HD display and plays HD movies great.
