Summary: I have had this laptop for about 6 months and overall I like it. Pros: dedicated graphics card lighter than my old laptop that was huge heat is not really a problem. I have a chill pad but never use it overall good performance, fast enough for what I need i have knocked it off the couch a couple times and it survived without any damage Cons: Keyboard is not great..

Summary: I have had this laptop for a few weeks now and so far I am impressed (I will update if that changes). The only negatives to this notebook are the single speaker (which isn't really to big of a deal for me since I use headphones), it gets really hot while playing games (which is fixed with a cooling pad) and the mouse pad is annoying to use.
Summary: this laptop comes equipped with a very good video chip at a good price, however the quality of the screen its very poor, at this time that laptop has 4 little dead points in the screen, when i talk to acer about this they said..if you have 8 dead points we replace the screen ......what an answer......im a little worried about this brand..if you read in the internet about the realiability of this laptops ..this brand has been scored near Hp.... its a bad thing...
Summary: Just got this laptop, as it's the lowest cost machine with a high performance graphics chip (Nvidia GT 540). Pros - IT'S FAST! 3DMark06 of 8250 right out of the box. It's lightweight, not a heater, quiet, good keyboard. Mouse pad has potential. Cons - nothing more than what the other reviewers mentioned, mainly the mono speaker. No blu-ray either. Big power supply. But what can you expect for $600?
Summary: I really love my new Acer. Firstly, the battery really lasts long. I don't really have to bring my power adapter when I went to class or doing my assignments. I don't find it hard to type using the keyboard. It is slightly different from my previous Acer Aspire. It has a very good specs. Intel iCore 3. I don't have any problem with computer crash. I got this at 579.99 which is a pretty good price and it offers you good specs.
Summary: I bought this laptop so I could take it to LAN parties instead of hauling around my desktop computer. The Geforce 540M falls at the upper end of midrange laptop graphics cards, and I am able to play all the fairly modern games I tried on high detail at the display's native 1366x768 resolution with a butter smooth framerate - Blur, Split Second, Call Of Duty 4, Call Of Duty World At War, Far Cry 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Battlefield 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, etc.
Summary: First of all, the exact model of this notebook is 4820T-6654, NOT 6645. I got this product for the last 3 days, so far, so good. Upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and it works perfect. I thought that 14" display is just a little bit bigger from my Toshiba NB205 netbook, but then 14" is a way BIGGER laptop for me (or im not just used to it yet). Battery indicator has hours/minutes remaining left aside from the percentage.
