Summary: I purchased this computer for my 16 yr. old grandson for Christmas. He is very satisfied with the performance and features of this machine. For the money I feel that this was a very good computer. I purchased a similar computer last year and paid over twice as much for it.
Summary: Both of the teenagers are happy with their laptops and find them easy to use. The size has worked for their games and the with Office added they can do homework any where in the house. The computers are clear with enough speed to play their games and yet still functions as office machines.
Summary: Great notebook for the price. everything is great. cd burner maxes out at 24x. definitely recommend upgrading the ram to at least 2gb. 1 gb will have you moving as slow as a snail (vista is a memory hog!). there is a bluetooth button, but this model doesnt come w/bluetooth.
Summary: Bought this laptop for my 13 year old son. The process of buying it and getting it on time and the setup was great. The only slight issue i had was getting it to recognize my wireless in my house.. but when it did it has been running very smooth. Really for the money i paid for this, its an awesome bargain, especially for a teeange kid who uses it to do the typical teenage stuff. Really I cant complain on the price, the product itself and the entire process.
Summary: I love my laptop, it really hits the spot. However, I had to spend some time getting used to vista and shutting down all the stuff that asked me questions. No big deal, I searched online and found out how to turn everything off. I also got rid of norton cause i hate norton. Then I put on AVG and firefox, and Im not having any problems. Performance wise I would recommend more ram at some point, you might realize it useful after a while.
