Excerpt: I have been using an Acer Aspire 3610 laptop ever since November last for my university work and I must concede it’s not as good as it should be, or maybe I just have lofty standards. However, it’s not entirely bad news, so I’ll start with the good news.
Excerpt: After my first year in high school, I had good result and I had a present from my father. He brought home his laptop, the Acer Aspire 3610. It was the first time I touch a laptop that feeling was great. So exciting!
Excerpt: i bought this laptop in 2006 and i'm still using it. i consider it a good value for money. i think the simple and smooth design, reasonable price and comfortable screen size are its prime advantages. the only reason i hate about this laptop is sometimes the operating system (winxp) shows system error and the system reboots without any prior notice.
Excerpt: i purchased this laptop (3613WLMi) back in January 2006, and at first was very impressed with it. After a few months i noticed a crack on the lid of the machine, although it was not large, it was still very annoying to have, so asked for it to be repaired by Acer, which they did. I had it picked up from my home, and within a few days had a call saying that it had been repaired and that it would be delivered to me within the next few days which it was.
Excerpt: My model: 'ACER AS3614WLMI ' 1.6Ghz Celeron CPU, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 80GB Hard drive, DVD-RW, 128MB Shared Graphics. I purchased this laptop around Christmas 2005, Overall I have found this to be a reasonable laptop although it does lack in certain areas, mainly durability. It does not feel especially solid and 'bits wobble and rattle', eg. one screen hinge is wobbly etc. which can make you wonder regarding quality.
Pros: Looks nice enough, cheap
Cons: Getting it repaired, feels cheap, speakers poor quality
Excerpt: So I've been borrowing my mums Acer Aspire 3610 since November to help me with my uni work and I must admit it's not as good as it perhaps should be, or maybe i just have high standards. Then again it's not completely bad news, so we'll start with the good news (what little their is) 500mb ram, 1.50 Ghz and all of this for under £400 (with free 3 year complete warranty when my mum bought it). And the DVD writer works fine for me, as do the USB ports and the such.
Pros: Looks alright, cheap, simple, DVD writer
Cons: Feels and looks cheap, easily damaged, poor speakers
Excerpt: Was looking for a laptop for a while and after looking about I found this one on offer at a very good price and for the spec it was the best buy of the time It has a Celeron m 1.5 GHz processor (which is fine for me as I do not use it for gaming), 512mb ram, 80 GB hdd, 15.4" widescreen LCD, 4 USB ports, built in wifi, Ethernet port and a pci express slot I have used wifi a few times and on this laptop I get the best signal all over the house, in the garden and even a few...
Excerpt: Recently my husband treated me to a new laptop (mine was out of the ark). We decided that one of the cheapest would be sufficient, as the only work I do on it is word processing, PowerPoint presentations, and surfing the net. As he is a graduate in computers, I left all the technical details to him, especially as I didn't understand the difference between all the specifications. Anyway, we ended up with the Acer Aspire 3610, with 15.4 wide brightscreen. I LOVE IT.
