It may be a good product but the customer service is the worst ever.

Summary: The pointer jumped around until I finally figured out how to stop it. Did a lot of research online. Then after having it about 14 months, I was using the dry air to clean it and it totally stopped working. I called customer service and was not at all happy with their help or no help.
Summary: This laptop has traveled many thousands of miles with me. It doesn't disappoint. It's been plugged into countless projectors and easily steps up to any presentation I throw at it. It's compact and light; two things I highly value.
Summary: i bought this for travel. in the first 3 months it quit working, called acer they said software issue and rec i buy new program for $20. and run it before sending the unit back under warrenty. ran the program but the unit would never completely finish the program although the unit works ok now.
Summary: I use this as a back up notebook. I was able to clone the hard drive to a 750gb drive, and I carry it with me in case anything happens to my Macbook. I also use a bluetooth mouse with it as the track pad is not that great. The keyboard is also a little flimsy, but as a backup laptop I'm happy.
Summary: is a good looking device but not reliable or durable at all. The headphone jack doesn't work, The corner keeps popping up, and also where the on/off button is there is a crack. I haven't dropped it or banged it anywhere it just happened when i was opening the screen.
Summary: I own this "Notebook" since March 2011. The short comings of this notebook are keyboard does not have ambient light. The keyboard it is spongy at times. The maximum RAM is not 4 GB. The battery only last 3.45 hours.
Summary: after about 4 months of using it, the plastic that connects to the monitor broke off. SO my monitor is now loose. I sent it in to Acer repair center for repair. They claimed that plastic casing is not part of the warranty, and said that external force might have been applied for the damage.
laptop died in six months. Will NEVER buy Acer laptop again.

Summary: I purchased this laptop (Acer Aspire 1430Z-4677) six months ago and mainly use it to connect to TV to watch Netflix. It was running fine during the six months but all of a sudden stopped working a few days ago. Basically it became a dead black screen with light on.
Summary: I love this notebook. It is only six months old. Yesterday, my keyboard started typing in a bizarre way. Any solutions? It types two letter for some keys. I don't think it is a vifrus. When I type f it types fr. Only about six keys are effected. I am not happy about having to ship it for repairs.
