Excerpt: My partner gave me the Acer 1410 Notebook PC when I started school, because I wanted a netbook for its mobility but he wanted me to have a real laptop for its processing power. Now, I couldn't want a better computer. I am on my computer 24/7, whether it is for checking email, writing papers, taking notes during lectures, or doing some amateur coding. The laptop is extremely portable and reasonably fast, with 4 G of RAM and a 120 G hard drive. Thank goodness for...
Excerpt: I have had this laptop for about 10 months now and I love it. It is small and easy to carry around but can do everthing I need to do for an everyday laptop. I carry it with me when I travel for work, it easily slide in my computer case with my work laptop and I use it for watching movies and recorded TV shows. I have had no problems with it as all so far.
Excerpt: I got my daughter an Acer Aspire Notebook before Christmas to do her school work and to have her personal computer so I wouldn't have to always share my desktop. The computer is surprisingly fast, easy to use, and my daughter's favorite thing now. The battery stays charged for a long time, the computer has a large hard drive and a lot of RAM for a notebook. I was pleasantly surprised how good this little computer is for the price.
Excerpt: I received this laptop as a gift, and I was pleasantly surprised. Acer does not have the best reputation for top of the line computer equipment, so I was grateful for the gift, but a little hesitant due to the brand name of the computer. I was dead wrong with my initial assessment. The computer booted up in lightning speed and in seconds I was already on the desktop screen.
Excerpt: My brother bought me a laptop from his school's library, and I was really excited about having it. I mean it had a webcam, it had wi-fi connection (meaning I didn't have to pay for the internet, but legally), and I was just excited to have one. Then I began to look around it just to see what all it had, and it just seemed like low quality to me. I mean it didn't have microsoft, I couldn't set my background to anything, and it just wasn't exciting enough to be a laptop.
Excerpt: Acer Aspire notebook rivals my dell laptop in price and performance. The notebook was easy to set up, moves extremely fast and came with applications that I actually use. The best one is the Barnes & Noble Nook for pcs. The notebook is easy to navigate and came equipped with Windows 7. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something fast and compact. I haven't found anything yet that the Acer Aspire can't do in comparison to my laptop.
Excerpt: I loved the computer when i first got it. I bought it in September of 2009 so i could do my school work anytime and anywhere without having to constantly upload from a disc or drive. After about 5 months it started running slow i thought it was just because i was using it too much so i turned it off for 2 days. I wasnt able to do any of my work for those days. When i turned it back on it was still running slow.

Excerpt: This laptop is pretty much affordable. It's not too expensive but it's not inexpensive either. The graphics quality is superb and amazing. Overall, it looks really nice. The keys are easy to type with, very good transitioning from key to key. However, the keyboard is somewhat fragile, if you overuse a certain a key, it will break. Be careful with how you're using the laptop.
Excerpt: I got the Acer Aspire 1410 (the single-core version with Core 2 Solo) for about $400. For the price, it is a pretty good laptop. It has 3 USB ports, HDMI and VGA port, and a card reader. It is better and faster than a run-of-the-mill single-core Atom netbook. Youtube and Hulu run pretty well for a small laptop on integrated graphics. The battery life, however, is pretty poor compared to some netbooks.
