Summary: You may find this nit picky, but I just came off a 5 yo wegner swiss gear backpack that I LOVED, and I almost went back to that brand, but this one "Looked" like exactly what I wanted, as I wanted a bigger laptop folder, and a kangaroo pouch. It was close, just frustrating that I have to mod it when my last backpack just worked. That's why I'm writing the review, you may find this perfect? Thinking I may put a light strip on it for when I cycle to work.
Pros: Backpack will fit Darnn near any reasonable item in it, including some monitors. I'm not talking about ATX cases or anything, just laptops and peripherals, maybe a lanboy? Lots of room for modifications.
Cons: The extra storage ares are not configured well. The cellphone/MP3 pocket won't hold a note3 w/ otterbox, but it's close, I'm trying to stretch it out now. There is a part that looks like the "Kangaroo Pouch" I had on my Swiss gear MAXXUM, but it isn't a pouch at all, it folds open wide for? IDK? there's no full pocket on the long side. Luckily I have a friend who can rock a sewing machine. I also grew use to a mesh pocket above where the laptop goes, and this one has ...
Summary: Purchased for high school son. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars are the clips which hold the outer pockets. They work fine, but if someone unclips them, the entire front flap section swings open.
Excerpt: I am a law student commuting into a big city. Carrying books the size of encyclopedias as well as the requisite notebooks and folders can be a burden. However, this backpack allows me to carry everything I need for school, including my laptop with ease. The sleeve for the laptop is thickly padded and has a nice mesh pouch in the front of it to keep a spare ethernet cable and A/C adapter. There are so many pockets in this backpack and there is really no want of space.
Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction
Excerpt: Product is made for a sturdy material. Holds 17.3 laptop and everything I need for school, even a change of clothes. I only have to pack this bag! All my items are easily located due to the organization of all the pockets.
Pros: Adjustable Harness, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction
Summary: At first I was a little scared that it wouldn't fit my Asus G74Sx-RH71 Laptop because of it's unusual shape, I have to admit It's a real tight fit, but it works. Still extra shock padding for the laptop would be appreciated and a little more sturdy nylon would be good as well. But it's doing an ok job for my laptop and the stuff that I have to carry along with it.
Summary: I purchased this backpack to carry both my laptop and textbooks because I was tired of feeling like a pack mule carrying multiple bags everywhere. One reviewer commented on the storage space inside and that’s what prompted me to get this particular pack. There actually is a good deal of room inside the pack. One thing I love is how easily the zippers slide. I’ve had some packs that require some strength to pull open. Mine slides open and closed with ease.
Summary: As i said before this has the perfect layout and great number of pockets. feels a little weird on your back when you leave out the laptop. On my second because of the first being stolen. perfect for me last time great to see it still produced. Please targus consider altering your construction or spraying these bags with a heavy duty waterproofing agent. since if our papers are getting wet our laptops are as well and this is supposed to protect laptops.
Pros: Its lay out. Pockets are easily Accessible. Spacious Pockets Lumbar Support Colors
Cons: Biggest would have to be that this bag is not even water resistant! make sure you buy a can of waterproofant seal this up or you could loose papers in heavy rains on my first one of these the earbud rubber gasket stitching came undone.
