Excerpt: I have used this bag for several years and it has been extremely useful. It would fit most laptops, as it has plenty of room in the main section. If you have a very narrow laptop, it should still be very safe as there are two handy Velcro straps inside that enables you to securely retain your laptop in a snug position. However, if you have bought a very flat, narrow laptop, there is little point in then buying a bulky bag for it.
Excerpt: After spending a pretty penny on my laptop I decided that I needed a good quality laptop bag to help me carry it around safely. I have to do quite a bit of research before purchasing anything, however once I saw this one, I knew it would be good. It carries my rather large laptop well, it is a tight fit but on the one hand it just means its a snug fit which keeps it safer.
Excerpt: Given that a new laptop costs several hundred pounds (at least) it seemed sensible to get something to protect it whilst carrying it around. I'd previously used both thin neoprine slipcases and more padded carry cases, and reckon that the latter are a substantially better bet. More padding = more protection from shock! I don't remember exactly how much I paid, but it was around the £15 mark, which is at the lower end of the scale.
Excerpt: I can see this is a well-marked case. Unfortunately, my experiences with it differ. This is a well-padded case (though it could use more pockets). My husband used it for his laptop, and for about a year he took it to work and back with him without issues. Then it started to fray. It frayed around the corner, where the zip ended (maybe this is a stress point? I don't know) and the fray eventually grew into a huge hole, rendering the case unusable.
A perfect all rounder for keeping your laptop/netbook safe and protected when you are travelling,

Excerpt: I got tired of lugging around my netbook in a simple slip and zip case so i thought i'd give this one by Targus a go since i'd heard the name floating around pc sites and thought i'd see what all the fuss was about. From the first impression i got i knew i'd make a good investment, build quality is top notch no loose stitching or weak points, zips are metallic and super strong, teeth on the zips are also well made so i wont have to ever worry about them ruining like on...
Excerpt: I've had the same laptop case for a few years now, ever since I got my first laptop. I honestly cannot remember how much I paid for it, but I do know that I was attracted to this particular case not for any of its own features, but for the fact that it was on offer in PC World at the time, and I got a free mouse with it. So to begin with, I wasn't expecting very much from the case at all.
Excerpt: Buying a laptop case wasn't something that was on the top of my list when I purchased my laptop, as I didn't think I needed one due to not transporting my laptop around much. However I later found that owning one of these would be really handy as even if you don't think you need one.. at times you may wish you had it!
Excerpt: This is my review of the targus black laptop bag, which I got with a laptop from argos (they had a special deal on, it was 10-20 pounds or so extra for the bag, I can't remember exactly as it was a while ago). Anyway, this is a simple bag, made by targus. For those of you who do not know who targas are, they basically make high quality protective bags for laptops, the sort of stuff you can go hiking in an so on.
