Summary: Bought this bag on sale. Feel I got a good deal. Bag construction feels solid. Meets my needs. Smaller size encourages me to carry less on trips, which is good as i used to over pack and then needed to drag it around.
Pros: Wasn't sure TSA would really allow this but had no issue with it in the USA. CA security questioned it but allowed it to go through without removing laptop. Huge time saver and confusion saver. Holds my HP ZBook 15 Mobile workstation which is a fairly bulky laptop. Thin design slides under plane ...
Cons: The center zipper opens like a pocket and i accidentally put things there. Always need to check before opening. Bag feels warm against my back. shoulder straps padding is okay, not great.
Pros: I'm a network engineer that carry multiple cables and devices along with a computer so a lot of weight and oddly shaped devices. The bag is made with good materials and has a lot of storage. The cheapest bag I have ever owned and I can honestly say the best.
Summary: Catch on sale for the best value. At that price point, it is an excellent buy for a more compact bag.
Pros: Works as advertised. Laptop well padded. Caught this on the Newegg email blast for $30 / free shipping, and I like this bag A LOT better for $30 than $50. Back pocket has dividers for a touch of refinement and utility.
Cons: Not as large as you might think. Strap attachment at the bottom doesn't look bulletproof, but good enough for my use and price paid. Pockets are smallish... You'll get a 15" laptop, a 3 ring binder, a couple thin files, and maybe a thinner textbook to carry well. If you need volume or carry weigh...
Summary: Really good bag for reasonable price. Traveling with it is easy, and just using it for one laptop>work is also a breeze. I'll have it for at least a couple of years.
Pros: Carries two laptops/power supplies easy; smart pocket sizes/placements; durable handles and straps; easy to carry/wear; easy to store (and access) under airplane seats.
Cons: The middle compartment (the one that splits in half when going checkpoint-friendly) needs a document pouch, and the front pocket needs a button at least; little stuff can fall out. Zipper would be perfect. These two additions would add an egg.
