Best backpack I've ever owned
12 March 2013
Summary: I have a slightly older version (mine doesn't have the ipad/e-reader pouch). That said, I've had mine for a couple of years and it had held up incredibly well. I've used several packs over the year between school and the Army. Many have only lasted six month (sometime less). This pack has only just recently started to show any real wear & tear. Also, it has just the right amount of room for what you need, and then some.
Summary: I like the backpack and it meets my needs, the capacity and pockets make it easy to access the contents. One small problem is the padded compartment where you store the laptop, it would've been nice to have a padded cover on the top of it instead of a velcro strap. that's the only place where it's exposed and it just happened my laptop got dinged on a trip....otherweise it's a very good bag.
Summary: I came to this site to see if they still sold this backpack since next year I will be attending college and felt the need to purchase another one. To see that it does makes me very happy. I have owned this backpack for almost seven years and it has never failed me. Whether it was nearly empty or full to the brim, this backpack has always felt comfortable on my back. Purchasing this bag will not be a waste.
Summary: I spent an hour looking at possible choices from a lot of vendors. I have to carry my laptop to and from work most days and often on overseas business. This is the best I saw and having used it for a few days have happily had my faith confirmed. The quality is excellent and it is an extremely well thought out design with pockets for everything. It is not particularly small or brightly coloured but I find it very pleasing to the eye.
Pros: ergonomically excellent , aesthetically pleasing , very well made
