Very Roomy Computer Bag
glfrlady "glfrlady", Amazon
10 April 2010
Summary: Great roomy inside - wish it had one more pocket or another zipper bag included. Had to get one of my own to put the charger etc in so it won't get lost in the bottom. Padded side holds my laptop and has room for other stuff. Very tailored, professional look.
Summary: I don't agree that this bag is way too big, because it's made to be a laptop bag and not a handbag so it should be bigger. I think this bag is beautiful. However, it is NOT 18" wide at the top, and to fit a large laptop that's kind of important. It is 18 inches at the bottom so technically the description is accurate. But the bag has a slight A-line to it that isn't easy to spot in the pictures here.
Summary: I saw this item in the store, but the price seemed too high for what the tote should go for. Found the exact same item on Amazon.com. The price was great, and the tote was delivered as promised. The bag is perfect for a college student, with compartments to handle accessories. Good looking and easy to carry.
Summary: I completely agree with the other reviewer. This bag is massive. It looks nice in the picture - but no - it's huge. I decided to test it out and put my laptop in it - the bag was so big my 15" laptop moved from side to side and up and down. I went to Target - found a lovely, smaller, tote bag for $25 - padded just as well as this one and holds my laptop better in place.
Summary: The Madison Tote is beautifully styled and well constructed. I was especially impressed by the egg-crate padded laptop compartment. However, this bag is FREAKISHLY large. It's about twice the size of a normal tote...the effect is akin to those oversized joke sunglasses you see people wearing at football games. I had bruises on my shoulder after carrying it for just one day! At that point I sent it back.
