Summary: I used this bag for school because it had a space for my laptop, books and a cool compartment for my gadgets. I loved the design and layout but.......... The bag didn't even last the semester! first of all the little velcro expandable pocket on the side tore out of the stitches within the first week. I thought eh, it's just a side pocket.............come to find out it was indicative of things to come.
Summary: This is the second Kensington Contour that I have purchased. The second only differs in the telescoping arm(the earlier model was curved). My first Contour lasted 5 years of 50% air travel plus day to day into the office. The Contour is the perfect size to fit in the overhead bins in any aircraft. It will also slide under the seat in front of your if not fully stuffed. The second seems to be of the same quality as the first.
Summary: Very well thought out bag. I travel about every other week and this bag works very well to hold everything I need for 3-4 nights, including an extra pair of shoes! (I am a guy, so I do pack light, but I think anyone could get at least 2 nights worth of clothes and still have room to spare.) My only downside would be that it's a little bulkier (boxier?) than i thought it would be.
Pros: Good Protection, Lots Of Pockets And Features
Summary: Bag did not look as good in person as it does online. For the price, I did not think the appearance was quality. The bag seemed sturdy, but I returned it after finding a better looking bag for a few bucks less!
Summary: Recent trip to Europe. 6 days of constant travel across Germany, this bag went everywhere. Fits easily in overhead on airplane. Securely holds laptop and accessories, camera, books and easily 2 days of clothing. Left large luggage at base and travelled everywhere with this one. Great purchase!
Excerpt: I got one of these today. Excellent for pulling, bit of a drag when you have to get on and off buses for instances and you've got to carry it high. But literally a couple of dozen places to store stuff inside it - ingenious usage of space. But make sure you use it for a laptop (as it protects it well), else, you may as well get a trolley with a lot more space.
