Summary: I'd say it's definitely worth getting if you're looking for a dock and you're constantly between two locations. If you just have a mouse and keyboard at both, though, it's probably not worth the extra money.
Pros: Works pretty well for one of my laptops. Using it, I was actually able to run 3 external monitors off of just my laptop which was pretty cool!
Cons: Drivers were kind of a mess to get working right. It doesn't have all that great of a feel when it comes to disconnecting and reconnecting my laptop - the delay was quite a bit long.
Excerpt: Using with my new S-75. Follow the simple 5-step instructions to install. After getting software from the web site, drivers install easily and automatically on first plug in. Makes for a nice clutter-free work space.
Summary: I followed the instructions, ensuring the drivers were all loaded before turning on the unit. I'm running this with my Satellite and two 27" screens and my other peripherals too without any issues. I'd recommend this docking station / hub without reservation.
Summary: I use this device to connect my Toshiba laptop to my Dell monitor. It is placed right next to the monitor. It has worked well but have noticed a few shortcomings: - display blanks out periodically for a few seconds.
Summary: As a student in graduate school, I use my laptop's screen alongside two other monitors for several hours each day. The only reason I'm able to do this is because of Toshiba's dynadock U3.0 (Model No. PA3927U-1PRP). The unit does far more than merely expanding my screen real estate.
Summary: Overall its a great product. Works for everything I need it for and its a great companion for any laptop. Support for linux is why I did not give it a 5. I would love to be able to use it with linux as I prefer it over windows.
Summary: When it works it's great but it keeps dropping devices, sometimes my keyboard stops, sometimes it's by USB attached drive. I've also had extraordinarily long boot times and need to reboot the dynadock. Overall it works, but only sometimes.
Summary: I have to say the information out on the web regarding laptop docks is somewhat sketchy and unclear as to if the device can do what you need, but this was the first one that I was confident enough to purchase to know it would do the job.
