Kensington Easy Riser Notebook Stand
30 January 2008
Summary: I have bought a number of makes of laptop stands recently but this one stands out as the most portable, the most stable, the most practical and the most versatile. It can sometimes partially obscure ports on the front of the laptop, but this is true, and worse, with the other stands that we have. Given the choice, this is the stand that our consultants put in their laptop bags.
Summary: Purchased for use as fold away unit when travelling, already have (much) more expensive desk unit. Surprised by simplicity and durability, 3 height adjustments are good particularly display veiwing for small audience around desk. Easy & very quick to set up/take down and pack. Worth just as much as units 4 times the cost.
Summary: Perfect for reducing neck ache by raising the screen to a better height and once you adjust to using the keyboard at a slight angle it becomes indispensable. Lightweight enough to carry around with your laptop too and the cheapest on the market.
Summary: Easy to use, does the job, great value, delivered really quickly. The cheapest I have found this item was on Misco. Would be good if you could earn cash back on your spending from the retailer, using Top cash Back.
Summary: This is a sturdy, functional laptop stand at a good price. The height is easily adjustable and should go as high as anyone needs. The lip that holds the computer on at the bottom isn't all that deep, so you might want to test one first if your laptop has a sloping or rounded front edge - it holds my G3 Powerbook OK but I need to hold the bottom half of the Powerbook when opening the screen, otherwise it slips off the stand. A minor problem at this price!
