security locks work great and price is right

Summary: Over great product for the price.
Pros: Have a master key for these locks works great. The price and quality are also good.
Cons: The size of lock and where it hangs off the laptop puts a little strain on the locking hole. No way to purchase just the replacement part that goes into the laptop sometime those get lost and we have to purchase complete lock set again.
Summary: Shopping around a little, I found this the best cost and quality balance. I needed it to use in the library. Very secure, my only complaint is the the connection to the laptop is sometimes hard to sqeeze shut and lock but that might just be my laptop.
Summary: I got two of these, and they are awesome. Way better than those cheap combination locks. This one has a real padlock that uses a key, which you could replace with any similar sized padlock if you wanted. The real value is the little thing that you attach to the laptop.
Summary: Works fine if you're not afraid to clean a burr off the lock.
Pros: Cheap, key lock, simple design, long cable, should fit any type of security socket.
Cons: Had to 'persuade' the key into the lock with a hammer! There was a little burr left on the lock that should be cleared off by a wire brush at the factory. After the key was forced in once, it worked normally.
Summary: I am using this to secure IMac's for a campus. The little swivel adapter is easily broken off or yanked out if you pull hard enough. But the cable easily loops through the hole in the back of the metal stand for the imac, and locks it into place.
Pros: It is a cable lock/theft deturrent
Cons: it is a thinner cable lock, and the little adapter thingy is easily broken
