Excerpt: Had to buy a replacement for my original after a year and a half because the cord had turned yellow and started to crack near the connector. It was already out of warranty so Apple wouldn't replace it. Be careful when unplugging the magsafe connector, do not stress the cable.
Excerpt: I am always on the go, and this cords are won't help. I don't know if other individuals experience the same, but I am waiting for apple to design a more robust cord (@ this point and time, I lost hope).
Excerpt: I specifically purchased this as a spare power supply after forgetting mine a home one time. Now I leave one connected at home in the office and this one is constantly in my laptop backpack. The idea of a mag connector is SUPER. And for the many people who don't understand the colored light on the connector, YELLOW = charging and GREEN = charge complete. The ends of the smaller cord, like any such device, are the most apt to weaken from bending and break.
