Great Product!

  • Excerpt: This is the second DYMO Labelmaker that I have owned. I wore out the old one. I had it for about 7 years or more. They work great and the labels are perfectly clear and there is no problem with them whatsoever. The label cartriges are easy to find and are not very expensive.

Just what I needed-fast and easy to use!

  • Excerpt: I'm a quadriplegic in a house of very technically challenged individuals. When I need to change things around on my complicated computer system someone had to do it for me. None of my cables and electrical component lines were labeled. The result was disaster.
  • Pros: Neat Settings, Simple Controls, Works Quickly

Works as advertised

Chad D., Newegg
20 September 2010
  • Summary: Definately worth buying. The plusses definately outweigh the minuses on this one. Overall, I'm quite happy. However, I docked an egg because of the contrast issue and lack of enough contrast levels.
  • Pros: Nice hard case, comes with storage for 4 label casettes aside from the one that is in the unit. It comes with an A/C Adapter and batteries. Truly Plug-and-play! This unit was easy to use, and I was able to get labels to print in just minutes after unpacking.
  • Cons: The contrast on the display was very poor. Even checking all the contrast levels (only 5..boo...) I still was not happy with the contrast. If you hold the unit at the right angle, it's very readable, but when you first pick it up to use it, it's hard to read until you tilt the unit "just-so."

solid home labelmaker

  • Excerpt: More solidly built than my last Dymo product, seems as if it will last for a while a few years without major breakdown. Labels on D1 stock clear and durable. Keys a bit soft, but satisfactory. Overall a good value when bought for less than $50 including DC power supply.
  • Pros: Durable, Strong Labels

  • Excerpt: I was skeptical about ordering this, because I saw the LabelManager by itself for about $4 or $5 less than this kit... so I wondered if this kit was just the accessories and not the label maker. When I got it though, I was very pleased!
  • Pros: kit comes with label maker and all accessories!, label maker is easy to use even for beginners, qwerty keypad, label cutter in the machine
  • Cons: comes w/ blk on wht and blk on ylw tapes, off-brand batteries
