Excerpt: Shipped in a padded envelope and cover was broken when I received it. Put in fresh batteries and could not get the unit to turn on. Purchased on line but there as not much of a detailed description available.
Summary: I remember this beast. They are still making this? I see the quality still isn't improved much. I was surprised that Casio would want to put their name on this product. Cutter: It is a manual cutter. The trick with the cutter is to push it at just the right location.
Pros: Price. Small in size.
Cons: Build quality. Battery consumption (6xAA). Pricey labels. Tiny buttons. Not a lot of font and print options. Small LCD screen and readout
Summary: This label maker is terrible. I should have returned it right away, but just got side-tracked. This thing is a giant pile of garbage. Don't bother buying it.
Pros: It prints sometimes.
Cons: Eats batteries like none other. Font is super chunky. Tons of wasted label before and after the printed text. Very picky about how the label tape is loaded. The cutter doesn't work well at all. Giant and flimsy feeling. The battery cover never fits right and doesn't hold the batteries in place at...
Excerpt: I just got my Casio KL-60L Labelmaker and absolutely love it. So far it is working great and is easy to use. The backing is a little difficult to peel....I use the point of an Exacto blade to lift it.
Excerpt: Many functions, prints legibly and works quiet well. It could have been better if colored black and had an ability to print broadly. But...."No complains" when you get something FREE !!! Cheers, hope it helps...
Excerpt: I have found many more uses for this product than I anticipated. As a recent retiree, I am re-organizing things in my home. The label maker is a great help. I still don't use the product that often, but anticipate I will use it more as my "project" proceeds.
Pros: Durable, Quiet, Simple Controls, Works Quickly
