Super-duper Labeller

Anonymous, Newegg
4 November 2012
  • Summary: I use this labeler for labeling random stuff. It works great. I have tried other brand labelers, and I still prefer to use this one even with the cutter error issue because of all the pros mentioned above.
  • Pros: Professional/durable build quality. Easy to use. Portable. Excellent label quality and finish.
  • Cons: Once in a while, at least on my unit, the cutter mechanism gives an error when the unit is held in such a position that the label falls back into the cutter. It cuts just fine, but for some reason the cutter sensor gives an error which requires me to advance the tape. This is only a very minor pr...

MAW, Staples

  • Excerpt: Offers so many options - size, style, etc - but then when you go to print tells you "too big" or other errors - why not just not have those options available so you don't have to re-do everything over & over until you find out what is possible? Not User Friendly!
  • Pros: Quiet, Strong Labels
  • Cons: Complicated Controls

Technology hinders work

mike452, PriceGrabber
15 September 2008
  • Summary: When you print, it will automatically feed a small piece and ask you to cut it before the real printing begins. It will error out 20% of the time after you cut. You have to power it off and back on to restart the process. If it happens again, you have to repeat. Useless feature!
  • Pros: Very nice and accepts many different size cartriges. Prints great!
  • Cons: The automatic cutter detector is a bad feature/design. Takes a lot of batteries.
