  • Excerpt: This is the worst label maker. We replaced an old green Brother that just wore out, with this. It eats batteries (takes 6 at a time), and the tape print out is extra long on either side of the text, making it go through tape very rapidly, too.

Exatly what it looks like

CornBot, Amazon
28 April 2014
  • Summary: I was looking for a relatively inexpensive labeler for for computer name labels, this did not disappoint. Very straightforward, very simple to navigate. The only annoyance I've found is that it takes 6 AAA batteries. Seems like 4 AAs would be more convenient.

I wish I bought this sooner

Doug H., Amazon

  • Summary: Love it - unbelievably easy to use. I dropped in the batteries and just typed away without even reading the instructions. I label all the kids' stuff and the labels don't come off - well worth the price.

Its a label maker, they get you with the tape

Kara James, Amazon
10 February 2014
  • Summary: I use it for marking A/V equipment, patch panels, and wires. Takes a bit to get used to, some functions are really hidden and or you need a cheat sheet for them, but for basic text I like it. It, like most labelers, does have waste and they will get you with the tape.

  • Summary: For my purposes it has way too many "bells and whistles". Making it way more complicated to use than necessary.

My favorite Brother labeler, almost.

Dorral Goforth, Amazon
30 January 2014
  • Summary: I already own one label maker like this and thought the two I ordered would be the same as the one I had. The only difference is in the labeling. These two new label makers use symbols instead of words for the functions. For instance, the older model says "print" on the print button.

CaliColin, Amazon
10 September 2013
  • Summary: Throughout the 60's I gained notoriety within the political arena through my unconventional yet controversial means of spreading Maoist doctrine. After taking a vow of silence, I decided to communicate with the world solely though the use of printed labels.
