Christina B., Newegg
10 February 2014
  • Summary: IOGear emulates video, but has problems with any mouse with more than two buttons. Apparently you can turn mouse emulation off on the IOGear, so I'm going to try the IOGear again, and see if I can get my mouse to work with it once I disable the mouse emulation.
  • Pros: Works with pretty much any mouse you want.
  • Cons: Doesn't emulate video, so when you switch from one computer to the other, the first computer it was on detects that there is no monitor attached, tabbing you out of any video game you are in. • Summary: I am going to buy a second one to replace a failed Belkin that has failed to switch after a year and a half
  • Pros: I have used this KVM with a Samsung LS30 for over a year without any problems connected to two high end 64 bit Windos 7 machines. I built a shelf for the monitor to sit on top without any heat problems. Both Machines are running 2560 x 1600 resolution
  • Cons: The switch is too small to support the monitor base by itself

  • Cons: Although my Acer moniter was working with a different brand DVI KVM switch I think tech support should have suggested changing the monitor.

  • Pros: This is a neat solid built unit, which if I could get it to work I could comment further.
  • Cons: First let me say that I am presently using a DVI KVM which works ok but will not wake the computer on port 2 with either the mouse or keyboard, I find this annoying and that is the reason for buying this unit. The problen I am having with this unit is that it will not recognize one of my PC's, I ...
