Works ok

brian r., Newegg

  • Summary: You cant beat the price. Works like it should but does not respond quickly sometimes. I would still prefer an actual button to switch systems.
  • Pros: Easy setup, requires no special software. All cables included.
  • Cons: Not as responsive as id like. Pain using the keyboard hotkeys to switch displays.

  • Summary: I connected 2 PC's on Win XP (Pentium D 3 GhZ and Pentium 4 - 2.8 GHz) running both at 1280 x 1024.
  • Pros: Easy to install, easy to switch between PC's, no loss in connectivity or resolution at all. This is a real good deal
  • Cons: None at all

Decent Switch

Jon S., Newegg
2 June 2006
  • Summary: Nice switch.
  • Pros: Works as described. Fairly easy to use and install. Switches computers fairly fast.
  • Cons: Most KVM switches you just double tap scroll lock to switch computers whereas this you have to hit 1 or 2 on also. No big deal but hitting the extra keys is kinda of stupid if you ask me.

Nice Product

Ryan Q., Newegg
10 May 2006
  • Summary: If you're using a laptop that doesn't have PS2 connectors make sure you get a USB adapter.
  • Pros: It works as described
  • Cons: The key sequence to switch is a bit annoying. SCRLK SCRLK UP for one computer, and SCRLK SCRLK DOWN for the other, and if you forget which computer is which well then you tap the same sequence over again and it will finally switch.
