Summary: This would be Great for older systems but Id recommend staying away from it with the Latest Systems.
Cons: This KVM would not work with My Logitech G11 Keyboard.(perhaps if it had a power supply it might have worked) It also limits the Max Resolution to 1600x1200 and it made my Monitors slightly blurry. (perhaps the Optional DVI Interface would be better for the Resolution) It also doesnt work with My...
Summary: Build quality seems good. Does not need power connector as power is provided thru the ps2 connectors.
Pros: No issues...installed without a hitch! Provides added bonus of working with Logitech Set Point software. Most KVM switches DO NOT allow the advanced button features and assignments provided thru the Set Point configuration software. I have a VX Revolution mouse (w/ps2 adapter) and Logitech Media ...
Cons: Strongly agree with other reviews about the overly stiff cables and closely spaced connectors. Had to carefully connect and seat cables several times before achieving a good connection without ghosting and artifacts.
Summary: another reviewer said that it need the power supply for lighted keyboards, but my lighted keyboard works perfectly without it! also, the box has a hard time staying flat on the desk because of the cables tugging on the rear, but i solved that with a piece of rubber and Velcro on the bottom.
Pros: well made box and cables... doesn't require a power supply (the digital display gets its power from PS/2 ports).
Cons: the cables are too short; thats the only reason why it loses and egg... one of the main reasons why i got it is so i could share monitors with two computers in different racks... i could have bought longer cables, but i moved them into the same rack instead, and i'm still happy.
Summary: Excellent packaging, the front interface is a gem. NOTE: this product is made for two computers with dual video output go to one set of moniters (that's why there are four inputs and two outputs). Look for something cheaper and has a sound input/output if you don't need the extra monitors.
Pros: Worked right out of the box, came with all the cables, has a pleasant and reassuring beep when you select the computer, feels very sturdy, is smaller than you might expect, the LED number is priceless
Cons: Doesn't switch sound or share ethernet. The "all in one" cables are thick and fairly short (6 feet). On First boot, the motherboard on both computers did not recognize keyboard, but second boot was fine, DOESN'T COME WITH POWER ADAPTER (though, it seems it doesn't need it), with all the cables, t...
Cons: Every two or three days my keyboard goes crazy and I have to reboot my system. This is a major pain because no keyboard means my work can't be saved. I suppose I could crawl under my desk and hook up a keyboad directly . . . but then why have the KVM in the first place?
