Summary: I have a Mac Mini server, a laptop and one large monitor. This KVM works great with my Macs, was easy to install and has been flawless. Futhermore, my favorite feature: The little switch that is included allows me to completely tuck away the entire device and cables so that all I have to do is see and click the "remote" switch.
Summary: I have built my last 4 PCs from separate components. The next-to-last one was converted to a Linux workstation to allow me to work from home more easily (the office is an all Linux environment). I got tired of the last Windows PC, and bought a small Win 8.1 laptop. I moved that last PC upstairs next to where the Linux workstation sits, but I didn't want to have a huge setup with 2 of everything.
Works Great, Setup with Logitech Unifying Receiver Tricky

Summary: I ordered this to switch between my Desktop and my Laptop. Initially it did not work with my Logitech Keyboard and Mouse, but after some tweaking, I was able to get it to work. Here is my Setup: Windows 8 Desktop Fedora 19 Laptop Logitech K320 Wireless Keyboard Logitech Performance MX Wireless Mouse Single Unifying Receiver I tried plugging the Receiver into the Keyboard Slot, and then into the Mouse Slot, but neither position worked initially.
Summary: This is a decent KVM (Keyboard, Video & Mouse) switch. I've seen some occasional USB problems, but that seems to be common to most KVMs. The best feature is that they include a remote push button you can affix somewhere so it is convenient to switch computers. We stuck it to the monitor. We used it with a Mac OS 9 G4 and a 2012 Mac Mini. Worked fine with both.
Summary: I bought this to share a monitor, wireless keyboard and wireless mouse between a home PC and a work laptop. Setup was straightforward and had zero issues with wireless accessories. Would absolutely purchase again.
Summary: Took a moment to figure out I needed to disable mouse emulation to get things running right in my configuration. I did run into a small issue when I switched the DVI output from my Integrated GPU to a discreet GPU without unplugging EVERYTHING. The Two LED lights on the top were both solid and the switch refused to acknowledge keyboard and mouse inputs. After removing everything and waiting about ten minutes before re-plugging everything worked fine.
Summary: Does not work! The Video was OK but tke keyboard and mouse did not work ... no power delivered to them! Not recommended. MAYBE it would work if a powered USB hub were used between the KVM switch and the keyboard/mouse. I purchased this a while ago (December 2013) and should have tested it when I got it. Now that I need it I am screwed Now going to look at other brands! I am changing this from 1 star to 3 stars as it "might" be OK for some users.
Excerpt: I bought this to connect two PCs to a monitor using a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 keyboard and mouse. The connections were so obvious that I didn't think I would need the instructions. But the two USB ports are not general purpose but are specifically designed for a 101 Key USB keyboard and a standard USB mouse. Out of the box, they did not work with the Microsoft keyboard and I almost returned the KVM switch as defective.
