Summary: I am using this to switch four relatively disparate devices (two PCs, a Mac, and a Raspberry Pi) using a PS/2 keyboard and a USB scroll wheel mouse. I had to fiddle with mouse settings to make the mouse work (before disabling mouse emulation the mouse would move only down and to the right, and even that was erratic).
Summary: It's been less than a week but so far it is working great. I was a little worried about this purchase after reading all the reviews about it not working with non standard keyboards and wireless mice, especially the review including the Microsoft Natural and Logitech M570 as that is my exact combination, but so far so good.
Summary: I ordered this On Aug of 2013 and the system performed flawlessly until Aug of 2014. then Port 4 the mouse and keyboard were not being seen by the OS. I tried different cables and switching the computer to different port to no avail.
Summary: I never take the time to write these, but I was so disappointed with this thing I had to. I have 3 computers hooked up to it. It does not work with a Logitech wireless mouse on 2 computers, it only works on one after I plugged it in to the front of the KVM rather than the dedicated mouse port, so I had to get another mouse combo for my work computer, and move the plug around for the 3rd. Then the audio does not work for the 3rd computer...
Myfirst impression is to look around before going with this

Summary: I've only had this a couple of hours but my first impression is to try something else before going with this. I've been using DVI KVM's for some time now with dvi to hdmi adapters. My last one was a soho from Belkin. This KVM makes me cry in how long I have to wait for it to switch ports. Its upwards around 3 to 5 seconds, My old kvm was about half a second and some times just over a second.
Summary: This is a very nice KVM and I still like it a lot. The switching has a 3-5 second delay but I got used to it quickly. The USB port on the font is very handy for using jump drives and such with whatever PC the switch is set to. The issue I have with it is after about a week, one of the ports died. The lights come on like everything is normal but nothing hooked to that port (the second one) works. I have three machines on the switch and now only have 3 ports on the switch.
Summary: Works well but needs to use front usb port to make logitech wireless transmitter work for mouse. If I need to use the front usb port for something, I will not be able to use it. This problem has been written about before.
Summary: I have used multiple generations (VGA, DVI, now HDMI) versions of IOGear switches and they have been great. This unit, however, did not work for me, and it's unclear if it's a compatibility issue or if I just received a faulty unit. I used an IOGear GCS1204G DVI unit with no issue with a Microsoft Natural Keyboard and a Logitech wireless M570 trackball. Actually, I am back to using this unit now.
Excerpt: I found the IOGEAR 4 port HDMI KVMP switch to be very useful and works great with my Samsung Smart Dock! I bought it about 6 months ago and I am very happy with it. The only issue is that because it works off the usb ports for switching between devices, depending on the device, there is an occasional lag. But it never lags when I switch from or to my Samsung smart dock that I connect my Note 3 to.
