Works with a Mac but....

7 October 2009
  • Summary: I have a G5 tower running OSX 10.5 latest and I use my brand new MacPro laptop 15" 2.88ghz Dual core Intel running 10.6.1. I have been using this device for a couple of weeks now. It does have a "Mac" keyboard mode but it will not recognize the eject key on my mac keyboard (flat metal). There are some work arounds to access the DVD drive so this issue is just annoying. The other issue is "ROM" updating of the device.
  • Pros: Easy To Setup, Reliable connection
  • Cons: Mac issues

Works perfectly - seamless

  • Summary: I have owned a wide aspect ratio monitor for 3 years now. Back when I bought my 1920x1200 display, there weren't any consumer-level KVM switches that were DVI based supporting up to 1920x1200. You had to buy commercial quality, which was minimum [$]. I have been waiting for things to progress, and here we are. I have two different PC's hooked up to this thing, and YES, it does support the 1920x1200 perfectly, even hooked up to a Quad-SLI video gaming setup.
  • Pros: Easy To Setup, Smart Features, Works as advertised
