Summary: This one is more expensive than most 4 - port switches on Amazon and eBay. I found why ... it works without too much fiddling! The build quality is much better and even the documentation is better. Everything works flawlessly and toggling between PCs is as easy as 1,2,3,4,5. The good thing is that it includes audio as well and that works great as well.
Summary: This KVM switch does the job (2 computers - 1 keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers). Although early days I am pleased with the performance. There is no need to worry about using the software switching facility as a hardware switch is provided (you do need to use the software if you want to switch the audio independantly).
Summary: Well I must admit I was slightly unsure about this item at first as it was my second type of Switch, the first i bought was completely useless but i must say this is perfect. Ver easy to set up but i will say make sure you put your main PC into PC1 because i didn't and the keyboard wouldn't work but once changed round FANTASTIC, all wires out of the way & just your little button, even works with one PC on windows 7 & the other on XP. Total Bargain & brilliant.
Summary: This does what is says on the tin - and well. But there are a couple of caveats - especially for folk like me who are trying to KVM 2 laptops, whose ports are in awkward locations. Caveat 1: The USB/audio/PS2 connectors come out like a star from the back of the VGA connector. They are each only 25cm long, so if your ports are further from the VGA port than this, then you're sunk, and are stuck with geting extension cables.
Summary: Does exactly what it says in the description and works flawlessly. The only thing you have to watch is letting a computer boot up with the kvm switched to the other port - the computer might not boot correctly if it thinks it doesn't have a monitor attached. The switch itself is great though.
