Summary: This is a replacement for the one that I had for many years (the coating had worn). It is lighter in weight and the control is a little hard to use. The quality is not the same as my old West Bend but for the money and the fact that it is lightweight, it suits my needs.
Summary: This product is very cheaply made, particularly considering the cost. The lid is very flimsy and thin. The biggest problem though is that the handles on the wok itself are continually becoming loose and will not stay tightened. I definitely do not recommend this product.

Summary: I bought this wok as a gift for my father's birthday last month and I'm incredibly disappointed with the quality of the product. He's used it all of five times and the thin metal lid it came with is already bent on the sides and its handle is coming off.

Summary: Took my wife buying me two of these and I just got my second one the cord works! First one I pulled out the box and you could hear stuff rattling in the heater component! Wasn't happy but we will see how this weekends sweet and sour chicken turns out now that I have two woks and one cord!!
Summary: Good product. My mom likes it. The handles are a little bit too close to the fried-pan, but overall it is easy and convenience. It is a bit more expensive than some convenience stores (FYI, most stores don't sell them), but at least, my mom is happy with it.
Summary: Overall, this is a good investment for an electric wok. Heats up quickly and has easy cleanups. However, this unit is extremely light but the quality seems to be good. My largest complaint is poor placement and quality of the temperature controls. Time shall tell.
Summary: Got my original West Bend Electric Wok (6 qt.) for a wedding gift in 1985 ...used it up until 2008 ... the coating started to crack on the bottom of the wok. Decided to order a new one ... have used it many times so far and it's still AS GOOD as the original one!! Good job, West Bend!
Summary: I find myself using this wok more than I thought. Although it is large it is very lightweight and so easy to clean. It is nice to plug it in and start cooking right away. I purchased this at a Kitchen Etc.. going out of business sale for only $24 so it was a great investment!!
Summary: This is a great wok at a great price! We had a smaller wok, but we always ended up with rice on the countertops that would slop over the side. This 6-quart wok has plenty of room and spillage is no longer a problem!
Summary: This my third West Bend Wok. I like the product not only for the quality, but the ease of use. The temperature control keeps the heat constant, plus clean up after use takes very little time and effort. Great product for frying fish and hush puppys!
