Cuisinart CSK-150 1500-watt nonstick oval electric skillet
2 June 2014
Summary: I had bought much less expensive electric skillets ($30 range) for the past 20+ some years. They began to peel after 4 or five years and so I would have to replace them. So I decided to try this skillet.
Summary: The only things I liked about this product is the size, the non-stick surface and the glass lid. Everything else is horrible. When the skillet is turned on there is a very loud buzzing sound while it heats.
Summary: Purchased this skillet3 months ago - it's my 2nd one. The first I purchased in 2001 - was the best on the market - used it every week till it was all "used up". Ordered this one - quality has definitly gone down hill - Thin metal & Tinny - makes "Loud Crackles and Hummms" while heating - worked good...
Excerpt: We used the skillet we replaced this one with to cook almost anything. The new skillet is thee same model I believe but it made a loud noise while heating up and then would shut down when it got to the right temperature. Was this review helpful? |
Summary: I purchased this item and had for over 2 years and the plug that goes in pan started to melt and brake from heat. I went on Cuisinart web site and ordered new plug. I recieved an email that they couldn't fill order, so I called and was told I could not get this part, no longer available.
Summary: It was with high hopes that I bought this expensive Cuisinart skillet. I was tired of nonstick coating chipping off! My thought was that by paying more for a "trusted name", I would no longer have that problem. WRONG!
Excerpt: This is my 2nd Cuisinart electric skillet in 3 years. I never submerged my last one while cleaning and yet the electric element plug inside the skillet rusted off. I wanted a smaller skillet than this but could not find a decent one. So I got another Cuisinart.
Summary: I received this skillet and used it about 4 times within the 30 days time limit that Amazon allows to return items and the humming kept getting worst. My time was up to return to Amazon so I contacted the Manufacturer.
