Summary: I hadn't realized the pressure cooker had clearly been dented before it was packaged until cleaning up after the first use. I cooked a batch of black beans for its maiden voyage and it worked like a charm, it was so easy!!!
Summary: Work of but not what I thought it would be. I thought that it would have a crock pot function. I doesn't. Works very well as pressure cooker. Chili from dried, unsoaked pintos in 35 minutes. Another thing that I do not like is the inner lid, it is aluminum and looks flimsy.
Pros: price and works well as pressure cooker
Cons: no crock pot feature and not stainless steel
Excerpt: It had been years since I used a pressure cooker, but after listening to my daughter (who happens to be a very accomplished private chef), I decided to see if I would appreciate its efficiency as much as she did. I admit that the pressure cooker delivered.
Summary: I love this Cuisinart Pressure Cooker. It is easy to use and you don't need to keep an eye on it like you do a stovetop version. Add your ingredients, plug it in, set the time and hit start. Fast cooking and infused flavors. If you are pressed for time when in the kitchen, this unit is for you.
Pros: speed moist meats cuisinart reliability 3 year warranty
Summary: This is a gift and hasn't been opened yet but I'm very pleased with any Cuisinart product ever had so don't anticipate anything to be wrong. I've used electric pressure cookers and love them. thank you.
Summary: In my order and receipt, it says an EPC-1200 model, but what I received was a CPC-600. It's not a big deal, but I am still a little disappointed. I noticed in other reviews, one guy also got a CPC-600. Apart from that, the cooker is good. It's very quiet.
Excerpt: Received as a gift, have used for soups, bean, chicken, asparagus, potato-leek etc. Am learning to adapt many old slow cooking recipes. This is amazingly fast, browning and saute settings really work, great stew, lamb shanks, chicken and dumplings. Now trying tapioca.
