Summary: This is so handy, and also keeps the drink warm for quite some time. I have only two criticisms - I don't think the seal at the bottom is quite tight enough as I often end up with coffee grounds in my mouth in the last couple of swigs, which isn't particularly pleasant, and also, seeing as it's designed to be taken out and about, they may as well have created it to be leakproof (it doesn't sell itself as leakproof, so I was aware of this, but it would just be helpful -...
Summary: It's a great cup & does exactly what you want. My only issue would be that I've had it for a year, maybe 18 months & now there is a clear break in the vacuum. Mine now gets condensation/water in the void but I've not dropped it or damaged it so I'm now considering getting on of the metal ones in the hope that they are a little more robust.
Summary: Really handy in the office if you want a proper cup of coffee. Bought three of these so far for me and my wife, she thinks they're great for tea when she's heading out in the morning. Pros: Keep drinks warm for ages and a handy cafetiere. Cons: Not water tight, tip it over and it will spill.
Summary: These are excellent items. This is my second as I dropped the first one & cracked it. The price I paid for this was a lot less than my previous one (from a department store, but at SALE price). They keep the drink warm for ages and are simple to clean. It comes with both the plunger for filter coffee/loose tea and also another lid for instant coffee/teabags which is not really required as you can do these with the plunger lid.
Summary: Excellent one cup travel press. It's already paid for itself after just a few uses at work (saving me on those extra coffees in the work canteen!), and, of course, I get to choose the blend, how strong I want the brew to be and so on. So far, after about two months of use, it shows no signs of wear, although some other reviewers have mentioned that the seal can wear out (as I imagine it could eventually).
Summary: This is a very good mug for coffee. Indeed, it avoids spills. I walk to go to lectures and what I didn't liked with my previous coffee mug was the spills. It was annoying and sometimes, if I was not careful, I stained my gloves or clothes. However, I wished it had a handle, as it would have made it easier for me to carry. Moreover, it does not keep the coffee warm as it should for a very long time as my previous coffee mugs.
Summary: I am a total coffee snob! Instant coffee is vile, and I was wanting something to take on holiday that would ensure fabulous java at all times, this little beauty is perfect!! Received it this morning and so far varied the amount of coffee until 2 x whittards coffee spoons is perfect for me, people who say it spills/have mouthfuls of grounds etc, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!
Summary: The first one we bought was great, but cracked and broke after about 6 months of regular (once a day, most days) use. Thinking we were just unlucky, we bought another one - unfortunately this only lasted 3 months and then the two outer layers split clean apart, rendering it completely unusable. We contacted Bodum but they were unhelpful. Shame it's so shoddily constructed because otherwise it's a nice product.
Summary: I've had this coffee maker 4 month and I don't use it excessively (about 9 times per week). Over the last month the inside of the maker has bulged making it stiff to press the plunger down. The bulge has now deteriorated resulting in a crack which leaks liquid into the vacuum section. I've not put anything in this other than boiling water which is what it's designed for.
