Tekgoblin

  • Excerpt: Our good friends over at Zippy went ahead and sent us over one of their new Bluetooth Keyboards, the BT-500 . • Conclusion: The Zippy BT-500 Bluetooth keyboard will provide you with a physical keyboard solution for those times when you'd rather not the virtual one on your Galaxy Tab or Apple iPad.
  • Pros: Bluetooth 2.0. Will pair with iPad, iPhone, Playstation 3, and some Android phones. Can pair and automatically switch between 7 different devices. Low battery light. Mobile.
  • Cons: No wireless USB support. No media keys. No light indicators for Caps or Num Lock. Small keys take some getting used to.

  • Conclusion: Just take our advice and jot down the steps needed to sync the keyboard with a new device (or maybe, just bookmark this review). If you lose the tiny printed manual months down the road, when the pairing process isn't fresh in your memory, you'll have a heck of a time trying to get the Zippy BT-500 working with your latest Bluetooth device.
  • Pros: Compact and wireless, Maintains six device pairings in memory, Key action is relatively quiet
  • Cons: Cramped keys not friendly to fat fingers, Syncing with devices requires multiple steps, No media keys or Caps Lock indicator light
