Perfect for budget build

Jeffrey R., Newegg
20 March 2013
  • Summary: perfect for the budget minded pc builder
  • Pros: I bought this keyboard for my gaming build i just finished and i am very pleased with the quality and for 8$ you cannot go wrong its very spacious and has tons of function keys compatible with windows so thats a plus!
  • Cons: although not exactly a con the keys are a little stiff with initial use but they just need to be broken.. also the keyboard is very long (than standard) some might gripe about this its not a con to me and not worth taking an egg off!

Great Functionality

Bruce H., Newegg
2 February 2013
  • Summary: Considering this keyboard was on sale for $1.99 and I had just spilled coffee in my last keyboard I thought I had nothing to loose by trying this keyboard. This was one of those purchases that came along as a really nice surprise for the price and the quality.
  • Pros: This simple keyboard functions like much more expensive keyboards. The board comes with a driver disc for setting up all the extra functions this keyboard offers. The keys are very smooth, soft touch.
  • Cons: Some of the extra function keys do not work but not enough to take off an egg.

Nice, but awkward layout

Anonymous, Newegg
6 July 2011
  • Summary: If you adapt well, this is a very good keyboard for the money. If you've been used to the standard layout for years, don't waste your money, because you'll soon be seeking a replacement.
  • Pros: It is well built and the multimedia keys work without any additional configuration. It's also very thin.
  • Cons: The keys are in awkward locations. It feels like the A is too far right, and you repeatedly hit the caps lock button. It seems the ASDF and ZXCV rows are both too far to the right actually. This is compared to the old Dell keyboard I used to own and every other keyboard I've used. It's almost as ...

  • Pros: Very nice keyboard for the price. Large Delete key. Keys feel nice - feels like a lap-top keyboard. Ample cord length.
  • Cons: This keyboard is LONG. It does not fit in the keyboard tray of my desk (just barely too long, but still - too long). Not a major concern, especially since this desk is only temporary. But beware - this keyboard is on the long side (19.5 inches).

Very Nice

Stephen G., Newegg
21 December 2009
  • Summary: For the price it was worth giving it a try. When a new keyboard is needed for a future build or a replacement I'll look for this one again.
  • Pros: This keyboard was bought for a build I was doing for a family member and I would have to say I am impressed. I normally purchase Logitech but I decided to give this keyboard a try. I am pleased with the feel and location of the keys. What brought me to purchase this was the size of the delete key...
  • Cons: The only con I have is that some of the keys are stiff and need some time to be worked in before it becomes smooth.
