Summary: The little cooling fan was a great idea in theory. However after using the fan on my first keyboard only once I really didn’t see the need for such a design. It really doesn’t move any noticeable amount of air so I didn’t find that it “cooled” my hand by any measurable amount. Until I got used to the keyboard feel, I often found myself hitting the cap lock key a lot. However after some time this issue was no longer evident.
Pros: The first one of these keyboards that I have has been used for close to two years. It is still going strong and only replaced it to have a new one again. I have used the original keyboard for many different typing tasks such as; PC gaming, college classwork, forum posting, and article writing. It has never failed me one time in almost two years. The board being illuminated really makes it nice for typing in low light scenarios. The ability to adjust the illumination h...
Cons: USB ports; as many have stated, they are not very useful for much other than a standard USB mouse. As some have pointed out, some of the boards have had an issue with the macro keys. People have complained that they have to be “mashed” down in order to work properly. I did not find this issue with my first keyboard so in reality this isn’t a con. The little rubber plugs for the fan ports will fall off very easily. These are so small that if you knock one off at a LAN ...
Summary: I got this for my brother for one of his birthday presents and he love it! Works really well for gaming and has a new look to it. My bother says it's excellent for gaming and that it its physical features are amazing as well. This product came on time and with no damages to it. I recommend this to anyone.
Summary: I got this keyboard for the sole purpose that it was backlit. I looked at a bunch of other keyboards and read reviews about how cheap they felt, how crappy they were and there were some like that on this keyboard, but I took a chance. I've owned this keyboard for almost a month and couldn't be happier. The keys are like those on a laptop which I love; silent compared to the standard keyboard that makes tons of noises on each key stroke.
Summary: My first thought "wow look at this packaging" The packaging was surprisingly high quality. Let me first be honest, who the heck needs a fan to cool their fingers? I am huge gamer, I have a successful youtube channel as well as I stream live on twitch on a daily basis, so trust me when I say I play ALOT of games, I just cant imagine a fan cooling my fingers making any legitimate difference.
Summary: This thing is great. Its taken my gaming skills to the next level. The Software is simple and easy, the macro keys are within a pinky reach on the fly, and the back-lighting is vibrant. The included fan is icing on the cake as it allows me to game hard for hours on end and keep my fingers and keys cool and dry...No its not a mechanical keyboard, but i accepted that when i paid less then $70 so im not trippin.
