Summary: As some have pointed out, some of the boards have had an issue with the macro keys. People have complained that they have to be “mashed” down in order to work properly. I did not find this issue with my first keyboard so in reality this isn’t a con.
Pros: The first one of these keyboards that I have has been used for close to two years. It is still going strong and only replaced it to have a new one again. I have used the original keyboard for many different typing tasks such as; PC gaming, college classwork, forum posting, and article writing. It has never failed me one time in almost two years.
Cons: USB ports; as many have stated, they are not very useful for much other than a standard USB mouse.
Summary: It is very quit depending on your keystrokes. doesn't have macros but I could care less, im not a true pc gamer but it works for the games I play. One con is the fan is not really that power full but it does cool down a little. I love Tt eSports got an Element mouse this keyboard and black cronos!!
Summary: Post-purchase emails with Thermaltake say "The keyboard by specification can handle up to 24 keys but each press and depress of the key counts as a stroke. So a total of 12 keys with a total of 24 keystrokes is the limit." They claim that they are "under the mercy of our supplier at this point", which has not provided a firmware fix.
Thermaltake Esports Challenger Pro USB Keyboard Red Illumination Back Light Review
John Smith, Amazon
5 April 2013
Summary: An amazing keyboard that I really enjoy using. The only problem and reason it isn't 5 out of 5 is that the USB cord while fully plugged in to a powered jack on my computer randomly turns off my keyboard.
Summary: i expected more from this keyboard, the macros weren't working at all !! i tried everything and still nothing happened, and now after 7 months it just died on me for no reason, suddenly when i was using it.. just bought a another one, Genius imperator pro and i already like it more and has more colors and the macros are working great !
Summary: Pros - Great lookign keyboard, matches the rest of the TT esports series -The LEDS are very very bright - Macro keys and program are pretty simple - Very sturdy cord Cons -Comes with this silly fan - Keys are very flat, some people wouldn't like this but I can live with it Regardless its a good keyboard for gaming, haven't had any problems yet.
Summary: I have been using this keyboard for about a week now and let me tell you this thing is amazing. Red LED that u can turn on or off it even comes with a mini fan :) unfortunately you cannot dim the Thermaltake logo but you can dim the LED keys..Giving it a 5 because the only con is the logo is to bright.
