Summary: I love this product and thought I could be careful and use it with my laptop. Nope, the first few weeks were good it worked like a charm until I started using my laptop as, well, a laptop and not in its normal desk position. I was sitting on the couch (I move a lot when I'm on the computer) trying to get comfy when the side of my laptop hits the side of the couch and the long receiver snaps against the couch.
Pros: good battery life , low battery light , fits my hand perfectly , long transmitting distance
Cons: long reciver , too small for some people , desktop only
Summary: I've been using my Targus mouse for 4 months now and I can't tell you how many times I've dropped it hitting my medal cane and coming apart. I put it back together and it still works. I've been using cordless mice for over 10 years and this is the best I've ever owned. Thank you Targus for making such good products.
Conclusion: It's not terrible, but I definitely wasn't impressed. I liked the look and feel of it, but the scroll feature is weak. It's optical and just doesn't read your finger well. It also continued to scroll slowly after you had used it. I bought something else and will get rid of this one.
Conclusion: This is the most awkward mouse to use. I had two different mac users drop it back on my desk because it just was a pain to use. The top is too flat and the ridge around the edge makes it nearly impossible to use the buttons on the side. One user report this is the Anti-ergo mouse.
