Love this keyboard but SteelSeries has some of the worst ...

Summary: Love this keyboard but SteelSeries has some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered. My unit stopped working after about 2 weeks. It took them nearly 7 weeks to get my replacement to me even when I offered to just let them put a hold on my card to send another out, hell if it were something I did I was fine with buying another. Great board, last product I will ever purchase from this company though.
Summary: Poor Quality - Poor Design This keyboard is nice to type on, except that several of my keys register multiple presses for a single press. For example, 1 '5' press generates 4 5's. Any basic quality control or testing should have found this. Additionally, the right shift key is smaller than on any other keyboard ever. This seems like a small detail but it is actually incredibly disruptive to typing. I do not recommend this product.
Summary: I've purchased this keyboard twice now, and I've shattered the right shift key "spoke" (thingie that attaches the keycap to the switch) on both of them, the first in around 4 months and the second in 3. I do tend to mash the keys pretty hard and do a lot more typing and chatting with friends then FPS's, I do love my MMOs however which is why I got it. Up sides, I'm a bit old-school, really not liking that ergonomic and hand rests, they just get in my way.
Summary: Before buying from SteelSeries notice they do not have a phone number for contact. If anything you buy from them breaks, pitch it in the trash because you can be sure it isn't getting it replaced. I have an open return ticket with them that has been ongoing for three months. THREE MONTHS!!! They acknowledge that I shipped it back and that they owe me a new one and that's about it. Buy from Razer, Logitech, anyone really.
Summary: Bummed it stopped working, was great while it lasted. Very annoyed something so expensive died like that.
Pros: Good mechanical keyboard ,nice while it lasted.
Cons: Same problem as every one else with the usb in the back. Doesn't seem loose but stopped working. For this price you would expect better quality. Will RMA and try to replace at least. Steer clear of this one or you'll wind up like the rest of us.
BROKE AFTER 4 MONTHS AND KEYS FADE AFTER 1 GAMING SESSION. RMA IS TAKING 14 DAYS AND COUNTING AFTER KEYBOARD ARRIVED.

Summary: my keyboard arrived at THE STEELSERIES warehouse on the 9th. 14 days later and still nothing. how many weeks does it take you guys to check and send out my replacement keyboard. this is a JOKE. WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. NO ONE DOES ANY WORK AT STEELSERIES and they stop responding on the website. no wonder you dont have a contact number. WARNING DO NOT BUY. WHY YOU BUILD A KEYBOARD WITH KEY PRINTS THAT FADE AFTER 1 GAMING SESSION IS BEYOND RET@RDED.
Summary: Way too expensive for the quality. This keyboard should be in the $40-$50 range.
Pros: Small border and stylish.
Cons: I had previously given this keyboard a 4 star review, but now after using it for about a year, some of the keys are starting to squeak. I also did notice after heavy use that the keypresses are harder than they should be as mentioned in other posts. Not the best keyboard for gaming, or any heavy use.
Summary: My 5 year old G15 gaming keyboard blows this steelseries 6Gv2 away in every single aspect. Shorter keystrokes with less pressure, illumination, lettering and symbols cannot be rubbed off. I thought I was upgrading from my old G15 to get this 6Gv2 board. I was mislead by the "pro gaming" advertisement, hands down.
Pros: It's heavy. It appears to be well-made.
Cons: -NOT for gaming. -The key switches are so high on the board that using these cherry black MX switches actually reduces your APM rather than it suggests versus using rubber-dome or shorter styled keys. Meaning it takes longer to press keys on this keyboard than it does versus others. -I've been hardcore gaming (FPS-RTS) on a semi-pro level for YEARS, YEARS. This keyboard put a bad strain on my hand after 1-2 hours of use. This is not a gaming keyboard. -The white paint...
