I really wanted to like this keyboard.

Alan "Alan", Amazon
12 October 2013
  • Summary: It's difficult finding a good keyboard with a touchpad. I go on the hunt twice a year in hopes of finding a new offering. This keyboard's keys are stiff. Not awful, but my hands get tired. The touchpad isn't the best. Not very responsive. Worse, it frequently stops working.

Adesso Keyboard with touch pad

Paul Testa, Amazon
11 September 2013
  • Summary: I had an older model with the traditional PS/2 connectors. When I upgraded to a new system, PS/2 connections weren't an option so I tried the USB to PS/2 adapters. They all were a waste of money. This keyboard is a great replacement, USB, a touchpad and a great keyboard touch.

Handles Nicely

Todd's Two Cents "Todd", Amazon
6 November 2012
  • Summary: The only thing it doesn't have is a volume control button. However, it types smoothly and is contoured nicely so I can type fast.

POS/rackmount keyboard

chris, Amazon
17 October 2012
  • Summary: Keyboard was perfect for what we were looking for, which was a POS keyboard. We wanted a full 10 key numberpad with a 0 that took up two spaces. That's what our cashiers were familiar with. It does feel a little cheap, which is the reason for 4 stars and not 5.

nifty

matthew h., Newegg
26 January 2012
  • Summary: This is a pretty good option for what i am using it for. My setup is hooked up to a tv and i control everything from the recliner. I tried a keyboard and mouse but that just wasn't working. The keyboard is hooked up to a USB extender cable bought here on newegg, so cord length isn't an issue.
  • Pros: Good layout and key response.
  • Cons: Maybe not a con for everyone but the touchpad is recessed a little deeper than I am used too with my laptop but not a big problem, the left/right curser buttons are also a tad further from the static pad than i am used too. The scrolling feature does exist on this touchpad but you have to slide y...

Nice All-in-One

Craig A., Newegg
12 January 2011
  • Summary: Needed this for a specialized, automation workstation that I'm building where a mouse wasn't feasible, and this looks like it will work.
  • Pros: It's doing what I wanted: saving space and giving me a touchpad so I don't have to fiddle with a mouse.
  • Cons: Not crazy about the key arrangement on the number pad side of the board. Wish it were more compact and the keyboard more standardized.

Don't bother with this one!

Sandra H., Newegg

  • Pros: Cheap, has touchpad, touchpad works.
  • Cons: Keyboard keys are very stiff. Returned it for an Addesso keyboard, hoping this one isn't the same way.

I like the form and function, not the reliability

David S., Newegg
19 January 2009
  • Pros: Integrated keyboard and touchpad convenient. Good keyboard feel.
  • Cons: I bought two of these, for two separate rigs, and they have both since ceased functioning. I would say they have lasted on the range of 6-12 months. That makes me unhappy.

It has scroll area

Grzegorz L., Newegg
31 March 2007
  • Summary: Works ok with USB extension cord, now it can reach all the way to the jacuzzi.
  • Pros: I made a mistake in my previous comment. The touchpad has scrolling capabilieties. There is a small sign in the corner indicating it.
  • Cons: The scrolling area on the touchpand is not clearly marked. But it's there.
