Summary: It's difficult finding a good keyboard with a touchpad. I go on the hunt twice a year in hopes of finding a new offering. This keyboard's keys are stiff. Not awful, but my hands get tired. The touchpad isn't the best. Not very responsive. Worse, it frequently stops working. The pointer either stops moving, or only moves in a particular direction (e.g., just vertically). I have to unplug the keyboard, and plug it back in, to get it working again.
Summary: I had an older model with the traditional PS/2 connectors. When I upgraded to a new system, PS/2 connections weren't an option so I tried the USB to PS/2 adapters. They all were a waste of money. This keyboard is a great replacement, USB, a touchpad and a great keyboard touch.
Summary: Keyboard was perfect for what we were looking for, which was a POS keyboard. We wanted a full 10 key numberpad with a 0 that took up two spaces. That's what our cashiers were familiar with. It does feel a little cheap, which is the reason for 4 stars and not 5. Some of the keys look like they are coming out a bit, and one of the shift keys actually did come out.
Summary: This is a pretty good option for what i am using it for. My setup is hooked up to a tv and i control everything from the recliner. I tried a keyboard and mouse but that just wasn't working. The keyboard is hooked up to a USB extender cable bought here on newegg, so cord length isn't an issue.
Pros: Good layout and key response.
Cons: Maybe not a con for everyone but the touchpad is recessed a little deeper than I am used too with my laptop but not a big problem, the left/right curser buttons are also a tad further from the static pad than i am used too. The scrolling feature does exist on this touchpad but you have to slide your finger on the extreme right edge of the pad for it to work, with big fingers this can be hard to do....
Summary: Based on the great reviews, I'd expected more from this keyboard. The keys are mushy, yet noisy, and still not very positive. I rarely know whether I have typed something correctly without looking up at the screen using this keyboard. It feels fragile and very cheaply made. The track pad, which is the reason I bought this model, is tiny, and the track pad buttons are loose and flimsy.
Summary: Bought this when I put my computer next to my bed so I wouldn't have to fiddle with a mouse, and to my surprise it worked out perfectly. No drivers to install, Windows 7 picked it up out of the box. It is bigger than I expected but typing is great. With my LCD monitor mounted by my bed and this in my lap, I have the greatest anti-laptop combo. If it continues to hold up, I will buy another for my family room PC.
Summary: This is a quality keyboard but be sure to read the dimensions. The keyboard fit my pullout keyboard tray on my server rack but it hung over the front so that I cannot close the rack drawer. It's a very nice keyboard if you have a pretty deep drawer.
