Excerpt: I really wanted to like this keyboard but it has simply fallen short. First, before I forget, what's the deal with no Play / Pause button? Isn't that a fairly standard button these days? The Volume Up + Down + Mute buttons are nice. But those are the only 'bonus' buttons you get. Come on..
Summary: For the first few days, I loved it. It was amazing. But after I got used to it and started to really break it in... Alot of times, the space bar doesn't register for me. I think it's just my model, or my cuh-razy typing. It's not a very big deal to most people, it's really bothersome for me. If I would've known about the Razer Lycosa before buying this, I would've bought that instead. That being said, it's not an awful keyboard, but... it's not a very amazing one either.
Really liked this keyboard for a long time, but...

Summary: First, the great things about this keyboard. It's awesome looking, properly sized (not too big, not too small), has no extraneous buttons that you don't need (multimedia buttons) except for volume up/down/mute, has no extraneous buttons that you'll accidentally hit, feels fairly decent (not like a mechanical keyboard, but not bad either), and has an appropriate level of noise without being silent. Also, the labeling is pretty clean. This is my second Saitek.
Summary: I bought this keyboard because of the back lit keys. It was really a godsend being that I most often play games at night. But alas, it wasn't too long before I had to replace it. After about 6 months the (space bar key) started sticking in a depressed position. Yes, very sad indeed. It also got dirty easy being that there is a big gap between each key.
Summary: Ok, I bought this keyboard because I don't want to play World of Warcraft on my laptop long term and would like to use it at night. It also matches my blue Asus laptop. ^_^ I have it since Feb'09. Pros: The lights make it great to see in a dim room. The light has 3 intensity settings (I'm not sure since I'm not looking at it right now) and I've kept it on the maxed. The darker, the better for the light effects to really shine.
Summary: This was my first backlit keyboard and as such I don't think I could ever purchase a non backlit keyboard again. So that in and of itself is a good thing. Pros -This keyboard is full size and sits level. -The keys have a nice responsive feedback to them. -Backlit keys are great. -Still going after over a year and a half. Cons -The keys themselves are painted, leaving the letters clear so the backlight shines through.
Summary: Im actually surprised this keyboard has gotten the reviews it has. Initially I thought "wow this looks pretty cool." and since Im a gamer and play in the dark from time to time I thought a lighted keyboard would be a nice change. WRONG!! The picture makes it look brighter than it actually is. Its barely illuminated at all. Additionally, Ive owned it for about 3 months now and the buttons are already fading. By fading I mean....
