Summary: I got this because I was really big into StarCraft, and the APM lighting was a feature that interested me. I don't play SC2 much any more, and while the APM lighting is nice when I actually do play, I like this keyboard for general purposes as well. Downsides: 1. it uses 2 USB ports.
Summary: Overall I really like this keyboard, it does not hold stains/fingerprints as much as my old Razer Lycosa Keyboard, the color changing while playing StarCraft II is awesome and I always get compliments on it. there are only 2 issues that I see with it.
Summary: You don't get a very uniform illumination the keys on the corners are dim compared to the ones in the center, also that border line around each letter the one that gets illuminated, it's not as nice looking as in the box, it's like the line gets cut in some places.
Pros: Color selection feature, you can turn On or Off the lights, rubberized keys it has a nice feeling, it looks amazing.
Cons: It doesn't have a wrist rest, so you get tired faster when you are playing. It's not only the key border and the letters that get illuminated, the space between keys also does and for me it kind of annoying there is to much light.
Summary: I bought this keyboard because I play StarCraft II 5 hours a day, I was getting the spectre mouse for free so I thought it was a good deal, I was wrong. The keyboard was scratched on the upper left hand side and the mouse was full of flaws that are common with razer mice.
Pros: Distance spacing good for sc2. Lights up anyway you want it. Feels sturdy, heavy and stays in place. Low profile, perfect for lan centers and or tournaments.
Cons: Price is WAY to high for a rubber dome keyboard. Needs 2 USB ports for lighting, a bad thing if you go to lan centers.
Summary: I updated the firmware and DL the latest drivers right away... So I've never had any problems with my keyboard... like some others seem to complain about. I'm a bit torn... because I love the compact design, asthetics, and feel of the keys on this keyboard...
Pros: -Exceptional lighting effects & Aesthetics -Spacing between the keys feels great for gaming -The soft textures of the keys themselves feels really nice. -The lighting effects used as Alerts in Starcraft 2 work great... -I personally LOVE the compact design... it gives me a lot more space for my l...
Cons: -It hogs TWO USB Ports because of all the lighting. -It's REALLY expensive... I feel like I'm mostly paying for the aesthetics and fancy lighting... because... while the keys feel great.. they EXCEPTIONAL... I got mine at a local store.. and the Blackwidow Ultimate was only $10 more... If that wa...
Summary: Arrow Keys? Really? I know very few people, especially gamers who use arrow keys, so I find that is an odd thing to gripe about. I've owned other "backlight" keyboards and this one has the best visibility overall.
Pros: Very nice tactile feel to the keys. A lot quiter than my previous keyboard which is nice since the wife complained about the load clicking. Adjustable Color is pretty sweet.
Cons: 16 million colors eh? Yes you can select specific colors, but what actually gets displaced on the keyboard is another matter.
Summary: This keyboard is great for all different gaming styles and is definately worth picking up a great buy for people who listen to music while they play sc2 and also great for people who want a custom lighting system u can change 3 separate systems.
Pros: The keys response is amazing, spacing of the keys are also great it really helps with both mmo's and rts so you dont accidentally hit keys. 3 separate lighting systems, you can change them each to 16 million different colors IE Change the backlight of the keys to teal, the APM stripes to a green ...
Cons: There are no pure media, for example you have to hit fn+f5,f6,f7,f8 for media playback though if u use winamp its honestly not that big of a deal. No Wrist rest but hey when you play games at a pro level your wrist has no time to rest
Summary: i'm very happy with the marauder keyboard. the feel of the keys is solid, they have a very nice and tactile feel, not slick, more of a rubbery coating. the weight of the keyboard allows it to sit very firmly in place. the lighting is a very fun option.
