Summary: I was skeptical about all the bad reviews, I thought "man, this keyboard has been out for YEARS, I'm sure they've fixed the issues by now." I was wrong. I honestly have no idea why this piece of garbage is still on shelves. Basically, I had it for about 4 days before it stopped working, first "V" stopped working, then the number "1", and thats about when I just unplugged it for return.
Pros: Beautiful design, fantastic key response and cool packaging, BUT...
Cons: This board has major electronic flaws. The electronic touch pad located in the upper right corner of the board, which controls several major functions, is known to activate on its own. Also, during gameplay, the Windows Media player opens automatically, thus closing out the game youre in. Another killer is that the keys soon become unresponsive. These are just a few major flaws that Razer is aware of, yet has not addressed. Poor warranty and service from Razer. Also, t...
Cons: This item was put together VERY poorly. I am on my THIRD one after buying the first four months ago. The problem is with the hardware; the letters randomly stop working due to being cheaply put together.
Summary: I too have the problem with keys randomly not working. Sometimes I have to reboot, sometimes I have to change the USB connections to a different plug. A quick google check tells me that I'm not the only person having this problem. I recommend passing on this keyboard.
Don't believe the reviews, they are suspect and this thing is chock full 'o bugs!

Summary: This is the first time I have given anything I bought 1 star. I normally research stuff I buy and am happy with what I get. However, my research on this keyboard was way off... So you're probably wondering "If there are so many positive reviews, why is this guy rating it so low?" The answer is simple. Go to Razer's site, If you submit a positive review of their products to various sites, like Amazon, they send you free stuff. I was unaware of this until it was too late.
Summary: I highly recommend you choose another expensive keyboard instead of this one. I bought this keyboard at best buy for about a $100 because I really wanted a great programmable very high quality gaming keyboard. I thought that at the $100 price range I was sure to get quality. I was sorely disappointed and reading the 1 star reviews on this product its obvious I am not the only one. My problems: 1. Random keys just stop working on the keyboard.
Summary: This keyboard is terrible. I've had so many different issues. Lets start with the big ones; 1) Random key malfunction. No repeatable pattern, sometimes its after one hour, sometimes after a day but a letter key will just stop working until you unplug the USB and re-plug it in. %^$^& it just happened to the "Y" key as I write this review. Absolute nonsense. 2) Audio controls simply don't work.
