Sticky

David H., Newegg
31 May 2015
  • Summary: Wound not buy again.
  • Pros: For the keys that work, it's perfectly fine.
  • Cons: Around 10 of the keys are super sticky. When I try to press them down, they wont budge, and then they sometimes won't come back up. Then about 10 more of them are slightly sticky. This keyboard was a waste of my money and time.

Disappointed

Gordon W., Newegg
18 January 2015
  • Summary: A refurbished board is now $15.00 less than what I spent, so will buy another -- this time purchasing an extended warranty for $5.00
  • Pros: Great feeling, great looking keyboard
  • Cons: Lasted 7 months before the I key stopped working. Drivers updated. Uninstalled and re-installed the keyboard. Not worth spending additional time.

cloud based malware drivers

Gvidas D., Newegg
9 January 2015
  • Summary: What happened to old school simple download and install drivers locally without internet connection???
  • Pros: works as a basic keyboard without their cloud driver software
  • Cons: You have to install drivers through their cloud solution, forces you to be online etc Just read this bit: "By using Razer Synapse 2.0 (“Synapse”), the Subscriber agrees that Razer may collect aggregate information, individual information, and personally identifiable information. Razer may share a...

Broken.

Anonymous, Newegg
26 December 2014
  • Pros: -It Lights Up. -Programmable keys.
  • Cons: I want to love this keyboard, I do, but it is broken. I googled for HOURS trying to find a fix to my killer problem. The keyboard holds a key, like W, for a few seconds until it cuts out and doesn't move for a few more. Then it resumes the key. In game, this works like this: You move forward, sto...

So bad

Erik R., Newegg
3 December 2014
  • Summary: false ads, thanks for wasting my time and money.
  • Pros: This keyboard is nice, and looks sleek
  • Cons: No backlight, yet all the photos show backlight on the bottom of the page... Why the false advertisement... This is horrible. No where does it say essentail in the title of this product. I assumed this would have backlit keys, its the only reason I bought it, Why the hell would I purchase a 40 do...

Borken spacebar, bad keys

Nick, Amazon
14 July 2014
  • Summary: This is the worst key board ive owned and I regret spending money on it. This keyboard was a ridiculous price for this quality. After only a month and a half of light use, with minimal typing every other day, the space bar broke.

It was great while it lasted, then terrible design broke it.

Qball56, Amazon
11 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought this keyboard almost a year ago, and was very satisfied with the way it handled, until just today the space bar decided to do this weird teeter totter thing due to a clip holding the metal bar in place snapping.

Dissapointed

PATTI M., Newegg
16 April 2014
  • Summary: Based on my experience and those who I've talked to, I will not be going with Razer in the future.
  • Pros: Slim profile, wrist rest, backlight
  • Cons: Get the keyboard and a few different keys didn't work (s,d, and some others). I sent it back to Razer (had to pay shipping) and they did their thing and sent it back. It works better now but often when I'm holding a key it will cut out and I'll have to re-press it (in games this is life or death)...
