Perfect

Scott S., Newegg

  • Pros: quiet keys compact design solid build good weight
  • Cons: may not like small size, or no backlighting, or lack of extra keys, but all these cons are really just extras, so if you're like me they aren't cons at all

Fantastic

Brent D., Newegg

  • Summary: For gaming, can't beat the price for what it offers. If getting for work, maybe get something that has a keypad on it. Would pay full price for it, love this keyboard.
  • Pros: -Price: Got it for $60 as shell shocker deal. -Mechanical keyboard, feels like a dream. -Razer, so high quality and feels like it. -Nice carrying pouch.
  • Cons: Ruined non-mechanical keyboards for me.

Compact and sturdy

Anonymous, Newegg
  • Summary: This thing is amazingly sturdy. I use it in the raised position, and it doesn't buckle or slide around even when I'm maxing out my actions per minute in StarCraft II and League of Legends. Very impressive. Also, a lot of Razer's stuff seems to have strange interactions with Haswell's low power sleep states. It didn't seem to affect this keyboard, but it definitely affected my mouse (original Taipan) until I turned on ErP support.
  • Pros: Very solid construction and stability during use (even when raised). Consistent feeling across keys. Compact 14" length. It was $49.99 when I bought it. A fantastic value.
  • Cons: There's definitely a transition time switching to this keyboard from a laptop keyboard or a stock dell membrane keyboard. It takes me a little bit to get reacquainted every time I get home from work (with the Dell keyboard). They don't make a Chroma version of this keyboard. =(

Loud and i love it

Anonymous, Newegg
21 February 2015
  • Pros: This keyboard has all kinds of customizations with it. the program that it uses (razer synapse) allows you to create different profiles for your keyboard. allowing you to change what any key can do, the brightness (can get freaking bright if your into that), and macros. you can also disable any of the keys which is a cool feature. and to top it all off you dont even have to open the synapse menu just to change the profile. you can link it to a program so that way if y...
  • Cons: only complaint i could have with this is that its just not available in different colors. my entire build is blue so this clashes just a bit. but thats okay. still worth it.

Respectable Buy

Courtni S., Newegg
21 February 2015
  • Summary: I'd recommend this or the Razer Anansi to anyone looking to buy a keyboard.
  • Pros: Good Handling. Keys feel very sturdy when you type, or while gaming. Macro interface works with other Razer products well.
  • Cons: This thing is loud, as most mechanical keyboards are. It is a pretty minor inconvenience, but if you're a button masher, it can get fairly annoying to your friends, roommates, or spouses.

Its a Good Keyboard

Anonymous, Newegg
20 February 2015
  • Summary: Personally i love this keyboard, it is easy to use and is comfortable for the Moba, FPS, and RTS Genres. If i could do one thing to improve the keyboard, i would switch out its green switches with Cherry MX Blue Switches because they are much more comfortable for general use, while the green switches can be annoying to type with on occasion.
  • Pros: Has a great feeling for those who want a more tactile experience while typing or playing games. Visually It is very nice looking and can match most desks or paint if you are looking for a specific theme.
  • Cons: The Green Switches that this keyboard uses can sometimes feel strange when pressing one button continuously. The cheap plastic that is used to make the keyboard can be broken easily. The black color and finish of the keyboard makes it easy to leave finger and palm prints that are visible on the keyboard. The keyboard can also be difficult to clean because of the edges of the keyboard.
