Summary: The keyboard is very good, if you figure out how to program macros outside of Razers software, or in the end really do not care about macros. In the end, do your research before buying any device that has software tied to it.
Pros: This keyboard, as far as just the keyboard, is great. Keys are responsive, is solidly built, feels like it will last for quite a while. Also a pro is the headset/mic connection and USB pass-through on the right hand side of the keyboard. If you use a wireless mouse, this is a perfect spot for the...
Cons: Razers software for configuration is where everything goes downhill. The software is a pain to install. For me, it constantly froze, crashed, or just sat doing nothing. Sometimes it would install, then say there were updates, and freeze during updates. Not only are you tied to the software for co...
Summary: I hadn't noticed that this keyboard's function keys were moved to the right more until after I had purchased it. Had I seen that I would have picked a different one(I'm the only one to fault for that), but after it had been shipped to my home I decided to try it out and see how it felt and I was...
Pros: This is a solid keyboard that feels good to use. The lights can be dimmed or brightened up after you download their Razer Synapse program which works in conjunction with any other Razer products that you have hooked up.
Cons: Unfortunate placement of the function keys as they are offset by just over one and a half keys. Those keys are crucial for some keybinds and you effectively lose an entire key for that.
Excerpt: I mostly use this keyboard for gaming and it does a bang up job. Keys feel fantastic and the shift function are mostly easy to read. Pros: -Clicky keys -Programmable macros -USB pass though Cons: -Not backlit, can be hard to see in the dark. -Macro don't work without the Synapse software.
Nice keyboard for price. Fix of repeat delay may be requried.

Summary: I should have learned that buying a gaming keyboard would have short repeat delay by default!
Pros: Compact design. Good quality for price.
Cons: Key labels are OK, but highly stylized, e.g. the & (ampersand) and @ (at sign) is ugly IMO. Repeat delay is way to short for casual typing. Unless you are a very quick typist, performing simple key combos, such as Ctrl-C, is troublesome, as keyboard will begin repeating Ctrl until you press C. Fo...
Summary: Its a very responsive keyboard. The lack of numberpad lets your hands stay closer together increasing comfort while gaming. The only issue I have with it is that you can feel the letters under your finger tips! It drives me crazy!
Pros: I love almost everything about this keyboard. I love the feel and sound of the keys. I love the built in ports. I love the extra macro keys.
Cons: My only complaint is the location of the built-in ports. Since they are on the right side of the keyboard, when I have anything plugged in to either of them, the plugs are somewhat in the way of my mouse and I have to wrap the cord around to the other side to be out of the way. I think the ports ...
Summary: I got this keyboard for $40 on sale, which is what made it worth it. However, considering there are much better keyboards out there for just a little more price-wise, I cannot recommend this keyboard for 65+ dollars.
Pros: Value - good value considering the switches are a cherry mx blue ripoff. Tactile feedback - much better than non-mechanical keyboards, though doesn't compare to the better keyboards out there.
Cons: Uneven tactile feedback - depending on the key you click, you'll have to apply different amount of pressure and that results in a non-smooth typing experience.
Summary: Razer has a really good product here and I would recommend it. It does have some small issues but that doesn't stop me from recommending it to potential buyers. At $100 or less, this is a good value keyboard.
Pros: Price when on sale - Chroma model overpriced at the moment Backlighting is dimmable USB passthrough for mouse Matte finish doesn't show fingerprints Software is easy to use
Cons: You cannot turn off backlighting for individual keys, it's either all on or all off. Headphone pass through emits a constant buzzing sound when no sound being played. Not noticeable while gaming though. Mouse plugged into USB passthrough will randomly stop working; need to unplug and plug back in...
