  • Summary: Wanted a mechanical keyboard for gaming so I decided to get this keyboard. Unfortunetly my S key gets stuck when pressed straight from the box. Not the best key to get stuck on a gaming keyboard because I get stuck walking backwards most of the time in games I play. Its a little disappointing and I will most likely be swapping it out for another one. I dislike that the ports for the usb extension and the mic/headphone jack is on the same side as my mouse.

  • Summary: I bought this keayboard because it was supposed to be sturdy but I found out after I bought it that I missed some information on it. The space bar is weak and will eventually break. The sliders are made of cheap white plastic that will break after a while. I work with this keyboard and it is also my gaming keyboard. I use it an average of 14hours a day. Typing and jumping destroyed the sliders that are really weak. Do I recommend this keyboard?
  • Pros: looks great
  • Cons: Space bar sliders are way too weak

Everything works fine as intended but

  • Summary: When I got the new sleek black keyboard, with the mechanical keys yadda yadda I noticed that when placed on my desktop the keyboard would wobble between two corners. It wasn't even made or tested to be balanced, and now I'm using an old Amazon gift card and a quarter in one corner to keep the keyboard from rocking back and forth.

Good keyboard. Bad software.

  • Summary: Why should the keyboard driver require an internet connection. Supposedly to sync my settings with the cloud. Well, I don't drag my keyboard with me when I travel so this seems like absolute bull. The razor synapse software which controls the macro keys and special features of this keyboard requires an internet connection and an account registration/login to function. Don't want to be hooked to the Microsoft mothership? No macro keys for you. Not a bad keyboard.

Some pros and some cons.

  • Summary: Pros: Responsive keys that are easy to hit. Takes a little to get used to but once you do it's great. Cons: Synpase drivers are nothing but bad spyware. (biggest reason for low rating.) Required to be online to use drivers/macros etc. Keyboard has a bend in it, making it slightly unstable. Keys too close together IMO.

Quality keyboard unit, key switches and leads let down badly by keycaps, finish, and driver/software instability

Mouse, Amazon
28 January 2013
  • Summary: Pros - High quality cherry blue keyswitches - Keyboard 'case' very solid, won't slide around - very high quality cables - nice key spacing Cons - drivers crashed every few hours causing random high frequency keystrokes and requiring unit to be unplugged and plugged in again (which resolves till next time it happens) - removal of either keyboard or drivers made typing in password on original keyboard impossible on reboot - very noisy, as well as the expected, nice,...

  • Excerpt: Great entry price tag to mechanical keyboards. Cherry Blue switches really feel genuinely good to type and play on. The macro system operates wonderful and is uncomplicated to setup. The create excellent of the Blackwidow is fantastic (especially for a Razer product). I'm a SC2 player and I find this keyboard awful to play on. This is a 2kro keyboard with a slightly modified essential layout from the normal keyboards.

  • Excerpt: Cool keyboard, really like the design. Nice color LEDs that match my compy. Haven't gotten a possibility to seriously exploit the macros but because... The left shift important suddenly stopped working for no cause whatsoever. Why did I pay 80$ for this? It just crapped out. No more operating in games. Lame. RMAing tomorrow. Seriously.

  • Excerpt: Keys do really feel nice and responsive. Seems like it will final forever, but it's a bit soon to tell. The function keys start out wayyyyy too far to the proper. Appear at the pics, the F1 key is fundamentally among the 2 and the 3 numbers, whereas I'm utilized to it generally getting proper over the 1. They are also tinier than standard keys and tough to hit as speedily.

RAZER Black Wired BlackWidow Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

  • Excerpt: The board has a very good really feel. Coming from a membrane keyboard I seriously enjoyed it. It is tough to go back to a membrane even for a short time after using the blackwidow. The space bar. It utilizes a stabilizer bar that is held in place by two little clips. The important itself did not have adequate "spring" to push the keyboard back up. From time to time I'd have to wait for numerous seconds for my space bar to pop back up.
