Summary: What I like about this keyboard is the fact that it is durable and performant. In fact, when I am playing games, I want a keyboard that is able to fulfill any of my needs such as macros and lighting so I can play at night. The Razer Blackwidow Ultimate has all these features and you can use it for quite a good while if you take care of it.
Pros: Great feeling on the keys, the lighting is very good and durable.
Cons: Could bug when updated with synapse 2.0 with the new hardware.
Pros: My first Razer product in 2 years since their original Deathadder and I'm quite satisfied. Cherry MX Blues are a pleasure to type and game on, improved on typing speed with a typing test, and it plays well with my games. Green backlighting matches the keyboard really well and I like it, a matte finish so you don't leave grease on your keyboard if your eating and gaming. A lot of people complain that this doesn't have the blue back-lighting like the old one, but green ...
Cons: Just a nitpick. It doesn't have a wrist wrest but I don't rest my wrist on keyboards anyway.
Summary: Got it at a NCIX store and on sale, there was some stuff stuck between the keys like hair that probably came from the try-me hole in the box,
Pros: Everything but the cons
Cons: Heavy, keys are loud (can be a bad thing),pricey, had a chip in the very corner of the keyboard (could be packaging or keyboard itself),can't change key colour for backlighting, stuff can get stuck between the keys, hard to remove keys (to clean)
