Summary: Got it because my friend recommended it though he had a cherry mx blue vs this green switch. The seller literally shipped me ONLY the product. Meaning no cardboard box, no foam, or anything that can prevent the keyboard from being damaged besides the razer box and the product itself. So, I ended up getting a dusty, dirty, and damaged box as a result. The keyboard itself is in good condition although one of the keys end up chattering.
Decent mechanical keyboard, poor quality control in general, pricey, wish it came with more LED options other than green.

Summary: This is a decent mechanical keyboard. i actually did extensive research before settling on getting the blackwidow ultimate. other keyboard i was contemplating included DAS Professional (the lack of LED killed it for me), and Corsair Vengeance K70/95 (infamous LED dying problems killed it for me). after going to the local frys electronic store, the first unit i picked up turned out to be defective. Razer's quality has been slipping in recent years.
Summary: If you don't mind paying the money for the clicky sound then it's a good buy. Literally the only thing I like about this keyboard the is the fact that its mechanical. Other than that it is very basic. I also hate the material everything other than the keys themselves are made out as it is literally a finger print magnet.
Summary: When i first opened the package everything was in good shape like amazon said it would be. However i was mislead when i plugged in my keyboard only to discover that it was blue backlit not green. I was very disappointed because now my keyboard doesn't match the rest of my gaming equipment. Amazon needs to change the picture of this product so that someone else buying this in the future won't make the same mistake i made.
Summary: I received the keyboard last night and all of the mechanical switches feel and sound uniform. No switched keys and the space bar is so far fine. I like that the row of number keys is higher than the lettered keys and, as others have said, the F-keys feel a little out of place but I am sure I will get used to it. The keys are not as loud as the last Razer keyboard I had, are amazingly tactile and responsive.
Summary: While the product itself is what you would expect from a $140 gaming mechanical keyboard (possibly even more) I experienced a return-worthy issue, some of the back lights for the keys stopped working. The first one to stop was the 'N' key and this happened in under my first 2 hours of owning the keyboard. With that said, I was able to return the product to Amazon after being told by Razer that the most they could do was replace it for another one.
Summary: I previously had a 2012 Razer Blackwidow that after about a year had a bunch of the keys start double inputting and some just stopped working outside of mashing the key. I was just outside my warranty and was told tough luck, which sucks but was fair although with other companies, they have repaired/replaced said product but that's not how Razer does it; neutral on that aspect.
Summary: i love the keyboard, it is everything i expected from razer! BUT it woudl seem i have recieved one with a faulty space key its mechanical function is not there and i am constantly double clikcing the space due to the fact i cant tell if i pressed it or not the only sound is a dull thud of the button bottoming out its not a huge deal but i didnt pay this much money to have something that could be aboput to break already so hopefully amazon as they normally do writes me an...
Summary: Its not bad for a starter keyboard if your now getting into PC gaming. This was my first gaming keyboard I've purchased however I have been PC gaming for years. The switches are not to my liking, they're really loud Cherry MX Blue switches. I've found that I prefer the Red switches because of their minimum force required to press a key and they're not as obnoxiously loud as these Blue switches.
Summary: Coincidental that. Compared to other similar keyboards I had in the past, the build quality appeared to be good and I had absolutely no issues with the mechanicals some have noted. The electronics worked fine until exactly one year and one day after I received the Keyboard (+ 3 for delivery).
