Summary: i ve own razer keyboard for the last 3 year and my last one was this one. it lasted me 5 month ( intense gaming ), sometime it would loose its connectivity in the middle of a game. it also gets dirty prety quick because of the glossy finish. I recently bought a logitech G710+ and i would never go back to razer. overalll id only recommend this keyboard if it was on sale for 50bucks.
Pros: cherry mx blue mechanical keys ,
Cons: bad usb connectivity , glossy finish , loud as f*** !, consider buying logitech G710+ before this one.
Summary: I've been searching for a real backlit gaming keyboard for a while. I've been reading about the best mechanical ones, and I knew about the blackwidow Ultimate for a long time too. So, after some more research, I decided to go pick it up at my local hardware store. At first, I was blown away by how solid it felt. The keys were great, backlighting was fantastic, macros were cool... But, right out of the box, some keys (mainly the spacebar) got stuck.
Summary: I like the keyboard itself. The adjustable backlighting is very nice, with each key having its own individual LED inside. The mechanical keys have that satisfying retro "click" with each keypress. The worst thing about these Razer products is their Synapse software. Synapse is total crap. I didn't even install it when I bought this keyboard, and I didn't really need it. I did install Synapse after purchasing the matching Death Adder 2013 mouse.
